Our party of 4 tried about 8 small plates with one main entree and fried rice to share which was a fun way to try different foods. The only thing none of us cared for was the Chicken and Salty Fish Fried Rice. It smelled awful and the fish taste was so overpowering. We enjoyed everything else we got. The... More

There are really little to no choice when you talk about dim sum in St. Louis region. We come here every now and then and hope that the foods would be better this time then last. But, always get disappointed. The taste is average and over price.

We tried some different dishes, which was hard to do, because we love our favorites there. We had shrimp dumplings, and they were excellent. I would have liked a dipping sauce, I don't think that soy sauce out of a bottle (they have two flavors one sweeter one saltier) are the appropriate flavor. Still, the dish was good. As large... It was reassuring to see many Chinese families enjoying dinner the night I was there. The dim sum selection was fairly broad and the few items I chose were very good, though not as good as those I have enjoyed in Chicago, New York, or China. Prices were reasonable and the service was prompt and friendly.

It seems that the relatively intricate decor for a Chinese restaurant is a reflection of a successful business in the past (where customers are reminded by the numerous awards displayed at the entrance), but the location was a bit empty for the size. The food was fine, but the service could be improved.

We arrived shortly after opening on a Sunday. It was not busy. We found that Lu Lu's continues to provide tasty light dishes. While we enjoyed most of the dishes, we found the steamed shrimp dumplings, pan fried turnip pudding, steamed rice pancake with beef, steamed minced beef balls, steamed seafood dumpling, shrimp fried balls, stream beans, and leeks /... Thankfully our party of 10 was served immediately. The restaurant, which is usually crowded was packed to the rafters. January 28, was the celebration of the year of the rooster. We got a floor show of two dancing dragon heads, which were very colorful and fun to watch. I don't know how a kitchen can serve as many people as... More

Try the dim sum. Fabulous. Actually everything we've had there is great. Including carry-out. Sunday mornings are a true experience. Very authentic.

A delicious dim sum which gave me an opportunity to try several unfamiliar dishes. I made the announcement for all vegetarian & seafood options ONLY upon arrival since I didn't have a helper with me to identify the food choices. The cart came by regularly with the ladies offering & suggesting vegetables, seafood and carbs in the form of irresistible... More

My Partner who is Chinese suggested LuLu's on Olive. I was hopeful this would be special and on arriving I saw a great mix of eastern and western folks so as they say seeing lots of people means the food should be good. The service was 4.5 Stars truly not the most lovely place but typical Chinese as I have... More
