Great Dimsum Place

My family really enjoyed our visit to this place. The dim sum is second to none in the area, although there are better ones in other states. The atmosphere is very Chinese, with lots of reds and golds and plenty of mirrors. If one is not careful, he can rack up a large dinner bill with the dim... read more

Experienced the BEST Chinese Restaurant in St Louis on Christmas Day along with 1000's of others. As we rolled west on Olive, we passed the sparse parking lots of other Chinese eateries flashing the "Open" sign - knowing damn well the wait would be well worth it. Circling in the parking lot for 5 minutes and finally parking in an... More

Lu Lu is one of two better Dim Sum restaurants in the Saint Louis area. Lu Lu offers a good variety of Dim Sum which retained authentic taste unlike some of the Americanized restaurant. The vegetables can be hit or missed, several times the "Choy Sum" or Green Beans were ice cold and completely lack of seasoning. However, the food... More

I have only eaten here on Sundays. That is when Lulu offers "dim sum", a Chinese portable buffet. Wait staff brings various dishes to your table and you pick what looks good or interesting. Everything I try is uniformly excellent.

We used to go to the building when it was Chaney's pit BBQ and saloon, thank goodness that is gone. It took a Groupon Coupon to get us to try LuLu's Seafood and Chinese Restaurant. The first thing that strikes you is that the restaurant is pretty full, and half of the clientele or more are oriental. For a Chinese... More

I've come here several times, and have enjoyed everything I've tired. I highly recommend the crab rangoon, salt & pepper shrimp, Mongolian beef, and the green beans. The employees are very nice.

Can I give an 0 Star! The service is too poor. I've been there too times, the place is crowed and rice is not edible. Much poorer than any other Chinese restaurant. They can even not separate the bill, I've never heard of that before in U.S. When we asked to separate the bill, it added 20% tips in it.... More

I took a good friend from out of town, and tried to show him some authentic Chinese food in the St.Louis area. We ordered some dim sum and also ordered a fish dish from the Chinese menu. Dim sum came first, and it's all good. About 30 min later, we noticed the fish dish is still not here. I asked... More

A real Chinese Dim Sum dining experience. If you're not familiar with dim sum, it's small baskets of savory Chinese dumplings such as Shumai, and Har gow. Various meat and other delectable dishes. Generally, a server will come along pushing a cart loaded with different baskets; typically you'll see seven or eight different carts. The food here is great and... More

The only items we had that we good was the fried rice and the crab Rangoon. The sweet and sour filet of fish was in the most unappetizing red sauce, the duck was cold and the pancakes were more like tortillas. I would never go back. The jasmine tea was a tea bag in terrible tasting water.
