This was a good place to come and have a beer, swim, and grab a bite to eat. Service was OK, but food was good and drinks were great and well balanced.

We ate at Captain Ron's with a group of 13 and had a new server. He was friendly and thorough. Although he was new, he was attentive and did make sure our large party had everything we needed. He was the best part of our...experience here. Truly. Unfortunately, the food here is really overpriced and actually below average quality. Two in our party got burgers that tasted like freezer-burned patties you would get at a little-league game, and another two people got chicken sandwiches that were equally unappealing. The best items we had were the fried dill pickle spears and the Bloody Mary. However, when the cost is this high, I expect to like more than just my appetizer and drink. The restaurant does have a neat outdoor atmosphere, but again, when you are paying high prices for crummy food, is it worth it? I would argue no, and I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know traveling to the Ozarks.More

Great service, good food, casual atmosphere. Dinner and drinks with the kids on a Monday evening. Probably a whole different feel on the weekend.

Service could use a little help, the bar area is not as clean as I would of liked it.The food seems as if it was cooked in older oil. Atmosphere is cool..When it 1st opened it rocked, but seems to have gone down hill since.

The seafood pizz is filling and very tasty. Draft beer towers enhance the setting while watching sand volleyball.

Great food, fun atmosphere and friendly people! What a great experience at Captain Ron's over Labor Day weekend. We had wings, Grouper tacos and Chipotle Shrimp Burrito... everything was delicious. Kaylee was our server and she was amazing! Highly recommend Captain Ron's for all ages!

Menu has lots of choices, with daily specials on food & drinks. Coconut Shrimp appetizer was exceptional, very large shrimp perfectly cooked. Grouper dinner was the best, I chose the grilled grouper with sweet potato fries the honey butter dip was delish, perfect size portions...on the salad, fish & potatoes. Great value for the price. About a 30 minute drive from Lake Ozark by car taking the toll bridge.More

Have been here many times but first time this summer. Won’t be back it is totally overrated I remember it was better few years even a couple years back. Ordered a cheeseburger which was a double cheese burger and it came out literally 4 minutes...later. No flavor at all 2 small patties that obviously came in some frozen pack. I told server it was tasteless and how can they cook a cheese burger in 4 minutes. She said they are thin patties. She was nice and asked if we wanted something different. We did not took the burger to our dog on the boat!! Hope our dog enjoyed.More

I have written over 100 reviews and I am always positive....until now. I went with 11 of my friends and we arrived after noon. There were only about twelve other people in this business. I understand that it is known as a party designation and...understand that the lake isn't too happening on a Wednesday afternoon. We all ordered food and it was TERRIBLE! The hamburgers were 13 dollars and "the two quarter pound burgers" were a total of about a half of an inch thick. The fries are preseasoned and all were cold. A friend of mine bought chicken strips and they had to be microwaved to make them warm. The waiter looked like he came out of a twilight movie! He brought us out two pitchers of water, plastic cups, and we had to pour and serve ourselves. When he brought out the tickets for payment, he brought out the money folders and placed all in stack on the table. We had to go through them and sort them out. We paid via the waiter and when he brought the money back, they were all in the folders and he stacked them up and put them on the end of the table! Again, we had to go through each folder and give out the money/folder to the appropriate person. This is a cool place to drink and pull up on the dock after a day on the lake. I don't think that I could be drunk enough to have the food taste good to me! In other words, drink, dance, party but DON;T go there for the food!More

Very good food! Whenever we are going on vacation in the Lake of the Ozarks we always make a stop at Captain Ron’s! I ordered the Philly and let me just say “Wow!” It was really good. Reminded me of when I ordered one in...Pennsylvania! My friend however had one small problem. She ordered a chicken wrap and it lacked in the chicken department. It was almost like it settled to the bottom of the tortilla. Other than that Captain Ron’s is a great, family friendly place to take people! I haven’t even said that they have a beach that allows you to swim and play in the sand! We always have a huge group and Captain Ron’s always takes good care of us! For example, someone in our group wanted a custom burger. She asked the waitress if she could do it and they said yes! Everything she wanted was there! The guacamole and the chipotle ranch! Overall I would say this is a fantastic spot to eat and to hang out!More
