We drove from Branson to Springfield to take our grandkids to tour Fantastic Caverns. After the cavern tour we headed to Bass Pro Shop and decided to give the buffet at Hemingways a try. There was a great selection of food and the grandkids ate for $5.00. The service was excellent. Will eat there again if I am in Springfield... More

We've eaten here many times. It's great for a special occasion as well as for a nice lunch with friends. The Sunday Brunch is our favorite. So many choices and everything is delicious.

Good food, with great service. Sit at the bar to enjoy the aquarium. The Buffalo steak dinner was very good.

I found Hemingway's on my first business trip to the Springfield area early in the year. Several months and several trips later, Hemingway's continues to keep hold my attention not only for the food but also for the genuinely friendly service. Lainie, thank you for another enjoyable dining experience. Signature fish and chips? Can't be beat. All-you-can-eat crab legs? A... More

Good service, enjoyable dining atmosphere and a very well stocked buffet. The tomato basil was excellent. Thick, flavorful and made you long for a bigger bowl. The rest of the buffet was orderly, spacious, and provided many offerings. Salads, deserts, breads, popcorn shrimp, fried catfish, fried clams, tilapia, chicken and the list goes on. I will be back.

In addition to the fact that Hemingway's is located inside Bass Pro Shop so you get all of the atmosphere that comes with the store, Hemingway's has a great breakfast buffet at a reasonable price. We paid $9 per adult and received a great assortment of food. Meats included catfish, bacon, ham, sausage. Had biscuits and gravy, fruit, pancakes and... More

This restaurant is located on the 4th floor inside Bass Pro Shops. You can take either stairs or elevators. The atmosphere and food is always good. Nice break from shopping.

We were taken to Hemingway's by friends who live in the area. The buffet looked great but to much food for us at lunch. I had the nachos, meh, it was just ok for nachos. My husband had the bison burger and he loved it! We sat at the bar so we could watch the fish in the huge tank.... More

No flavor. No seasoning. It's like an ulcer diet. $12 is reasonable but soup was blah. Taliapia was cooked tender, but no flavor. Chicken had a sauce but very little flavor. I couldn't eat macaroni salad. The only thing that tasted right was radishes and pineapple. Peach cobler was Luke warm and again, blah. You get what you pay for.... More

I will say that my wife and I have made three trips to Hemingway's and it's hit or miss. The food is usually good, but on one of our visits the food wasn't as warm, didn't have as much taste as we remembered from before, etc. The buffet has a good selection of food for the most part, but probably...
