I had the half order of enchilada style burritos. I also ordered a half order of Guacamole. This was more than enough food for me. I even took some home! Great food and good service.

There are several Mexican Villa's located in Springfield but this one is my favorite. You have to try the Sancho it is delicious. Great mexicsn food, great service, small and personable restaurant.

POSITIVES: Consistent food taste and presentation, easy to find, good value NEGATIVES: Inconsistent service, tight parking During a recent extended vacation we were driving past Springfield and had some time, so decided to return to one of our favorite local restaurants: Mexican Villa. This small chain serves "Mexican" food like we had as kids. The first visit was so pleasant,... More

This particular Mexican Villa is nostalgic for me...been eating here for years. This week's visit was wonderful! Great Mexican food...known for their sauces. I love the sweet sauce, some prefer mild and spicy. Try them all, and buy a jar to take home with you.

I have been a fan of Mexican Villa for 50 years and more specifically, the National location. There are naysayers who say it does not serve good Mexican food. Consider this: You do not go to Mexican Villa to eat Mexican food. You go to Mexican Villa for Mexican Villa food. It's darn good stuff. Love the tacos, sancho and... More

We loved having the mini jukebox at the tables. The food was plentiful, and good. Nothing spectacular. We'd come for their special, which both my friend and I ordered. I just wasn't impressed. Not much flavor, far too much cheese. The salsa was spicy, but tasted like tomato paste not salsa. The cheese sauce was quite good. The guacamole was... More

We just visited again after being back in town for the first time in 15 years. We actually came here after we got engaged 37years ago. Loved it then, love it now. Awesome chips and the sweet sauce is the best! The cheese enchiladas are legendary and my husband gets them everytime. I love the burritos. The atmosphere and service... More

I paid 11 dollars for the Sancho Burrito. I expected rice and beans for that, but those were 2 dollars more each. So 15 dollars later I had a Burrito with meat sauce and lettuce. Then I had to wait until it was 3/4 of the way gone before the rice and beans showed. The food was good, and the... More

This location has been in Business for approximately 65 years...if you like Authentic Mexican Food, it is a Destination Restaurant in Springfield, Missouri...The atmosphere is horrible...the Food is Fabulous...The Combination Plate is Historical...The Tacos are deliciously Unique...I never miss eating at this restaurant and specifically this location at 1408 National...it has a cult following of people of every economic background...
