This was the first time we ate at a Korean bbq restaurant. I would have liked more of an introduction to the cuisine and the general process. Cleaning the grill would be a nice aspect if you are cooking a lot of food and with...varied options. Yet, the atmosphere is a bit of fun, and certainly not a "dive." The food is very good. We had thirds and fourths on everything.More

My family had so much fun here and it was definitely a new experience for us! The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, and I feel like we learned a lot about Korean culture. Definitely come hungry because everything is so good and there is...so much of it. I highly recommend and we will be back!More

The non-marinaded dishes were great, but the marinaded meat was beyond sweet. I've been to S. Korea several times and no restaurants there have anything that sweet. In fact, it was so bad I had a stomach ache all night. My advise is to get...the salt & pepper seasoned meat and stay away from the marinaded.More

We had seven of us in our party, so we made a reservation online. We were seated close to our time. We had a few ups and downs with dinner, but overall, we had a good time and the food was delicious. We sat at...the bar before our time and did a little “pregaming” and looked at the menu. When seated, you don’t really get an option like on the menu at the bar. Our server also didn’t do much explaining on the processes. Like another review said, cross contamination is a very big problem for cooked and raw food. One pair of tongs to put on raw food and cook/serve it is kind of ridiculous. Also with our larger party, we only had one grill. It was not big enough to cook enough food, so it seemed like we were always waiting for food. It also seems reasonable for some way to clean the grill while cooking. By the end of our two hours, the grill was pretty nasty. On the other hand, the food is really good. Of course, you cook it yourself, so if it is not good, who can you blame. The sausage was the last meat we ordered and was probably our favorite. I’d order the brisket first if really hungry because it is sliced really thin and cooks fast. We asked for lettuce and made wraps with some of the meats too. The sauces were really good too and we loved the spicy sauce. Maybe a little bigger bowl for the sauces would be nice. It’s all you can eat, so we even got seconds on dessert if you ask. We’d definitely eat here again, but would request a table with two grills for sure, and extra tongs.More

This restaurant is fabulous. The staff is very helpful navigating the somewhat unique dining experience. The food is fantastic as you cook it at your own table griddle. The pork belly and the beef short ribs were my personal favorite.

You cant complain about the cook because your the one doing the cooking.. Really fun dinning experience. Food is fresh and wholesome . Our personal waiter was a joy ! She knew how to take care of diners. This is a all you can cook...and eat place so if you leave hungry It's the chefs fault so blame him or her!More

We were there to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and I will say the food was very good as was the service. However, I didn’t find it particularly relaxing. When I go to a restaurant I want to be served and I don’t want to cook....At Bawi you are presented with a number of very small sides which they will replenish. Then you pick out your meat, they bring it to you raw, and you cook it at your table. We had short ribs, sirloin, chicken and shrimp over the evening. My husband & I picked up our daughter’s meal and for 3 people with drinks the tab was $125. It was a special occasion and we all had a good time, but we all agreed we wouldn’t be going back.More

We had a wonderful visit at Bawi's! It was our first time and so we had to get used to the way it works. At first I thought maybe $25 per person was a little high but then considering you can get 2 meats at...a time for two hours, that's a lot of food! I thought thr waiter was going to cook the meat for us, but no. Not a big deal. But defineatly go hungry, they give you all the sides you can eat.More

My son has actually been to Korea and he told his Dad and I that this was the closest to "real" Korean food he has had since being back home. We LOVED it, all the food we got to try, the sides were all yummy...and as it is all you can eat, we tried almost every meat and fish available! Yes, you do cook it your self. I found that to be part of what our son described as the "bonding process" of sharing a meal. It is so interactive and it slows you down so that you can actually eat for 2 hours and try so many different delicacies without feeling like exploding when you leave. Try the Calamari steak, it is fantastic, similar texture to cat fish without the fishy taste. "Sara " is a fantastic server, so positive and friendly and helpful without being in your face. Great place to interreact with family or friends and break bread! Only open for dinner and reservations are recommendedMore
