A small local Italian restaurant with wonderful pasta dishes. Dinner comes with a great salad, warm bread, and the entrees are huge.

Great atmosphere. They need sound proofing inside but the food is great... Service occasionally slow but a consistent favorite of mine.

Nice little restaurant off the beaten path. Good food, great wine. Free french bread with real diced garlic was served before our meal. The staff was very friendly & respectful. They have a nice patio area & two different indoor rooms. When in the area we will defiantly revisit.

We were seated immediately. The portions were quite generous. Plenty for two to share. The bread was delicious but it took a very long time for our food to come out. We will try it again.

Quaint setting in neighborhood locale. Bread, food -toasted ravioli, house salad and spaghetti and meatballs -excellent! Good wine, friendly service and so reasonably priced. Great find!!!

Bambino's has outstanding Italian food and consistently good service! My favorite is the ziti, and my husband says he doesn't even want to eat anyone else's alfredo after eating theirs because it's just the best. I would go at a non-peak time, though, or you'll have a while to wait.

Bambinos offers delicious food in a small quaint, comfortable restaurant. Would definitely recommend stopping here to eat.

Bambinos Café on Delmar is a tiny little restaurant hidden in a residential area immediately south of the Missouri State University in the heart of Springfield. Everything I had tried there is scrumptious - the bread, the salad, the pasta - its all great. Its only downside is that it is so small and crowded, therefore so noisy that conversation... More

This is a great place for food. Little place to eat in the middle of a neighborhood, you need to find it when you are there. Awesome food that is out of this world. Great bread and you can't go wrong with any main course!

The food is so so good! The atmosphere is a little weird. The restaurant is in a house so it kind of still feels that way. The service is also not very good. They just weren't super friendly but the food makes up for the poor service.

Description
Great Food. Great Service. Your Neighborhood. Bambinos Cafe is proud of our reputation as one the best restaurants in town. There's a lot of great restaurants in Springfield MO and so we were honored to be selected by as The Best Italian Food, Best Place For Date-Night Dinner and Best Restaurant by the Missouri State University newspaper The Standard.

It can be a bit of a challenge finding our local restaurant tucked back in the Phelps Grove neighborhood, but we hope that our food is worth the journey. 417 Magazine rated us Best Hidden Restaurant and said "You have to wind back into a residential area to find this slightly off-the-radar restaurant but it'll be a treat when you do. The patio is large and covered, the atmosphere is laid-back and the prices are super-reasonable."
