We visited Jay's for lunch. The food was good but nothing I would drive out of my way for. The chicken was crispy and tasted very good but was not very hot. The buffet was priced right ($6.95) for the variety of foods provided. I would say give it a shot if you would like a very local place to... More

My favorite is their chicken sandwich with their famous mustard sauce! It is an amazing jalapeño mustard sauce that you MUST try!!! Addictive!!! I think I get the sandwich for the sauce!!! Actually it is all amazing and very reasonably priced!!! The buffet they have inside is wonderful as well. Home cooked food! Enjoy!

It just don't get no better than this. Don't look for fancy, but the food is awesome. The buffet or by order, it's all good. We always stop in here every time we are in town

The best place to get chicken livers and gizzards on the planet, only thing i wish they would do is have 1/2 and 1/2 orders, i like a bit of both without ordering 2 full orders of them, most places do....service is great, even when busy as heck....I will continue to eat here in the future.......

Traveling on business and spending a night in Sikeston I decided to try Jay's Krispy Chicken for a carryout dinner. While they have seating and a small buffet available I decided just to order chicken to go. The building itself as well as the inside is nothing to write home about. In fact, you kind of wonder if you want... More

Not that Sikeston has a lot of choices for breakfast but this is by far the best. The chicken biscuits are amazing every time. They also have good biscuits and gravy. At night I'm not wild about anything but the chicken but still really good. Tuesday and Thursday they have chicken and dumplings and Wednesday they have ham and beans.... More

I've visited Jay's a few times and every time we go it is awesome. The people are so friendly. Drinks are self serve, don't be surprised if a customer walks by and asks if you would like a refill while they get theirs. The food is really good, love the omelets and the chicken.

Best place for breakfast and the best place for chicken in town. Don't let the cosmetics of the building push you away!
