This was once my favorite restaurant outside St. Louis, but I was dissatisfied with the meal I was served today. The printed menu wasn’t the same as the online menu. They were out of bacon wrapped shrimp, and my giant schnitzel sandwich was hammered, under...seasoned, and missing some of the toppings listed on the menu. The spaetzle was fried in oil until crispy and over salted. The staff as wonderful though.More

One visit is probably not enough to go on. I may have Misordered for the night as the chicken I had was very dry. Husbands dish was good. Manhattan was awesome and a house specialty. As much these days not enough help. So owners were...doing a great job holding down the restaurant and barMore

One of the best Manhattan’s I’ve had at a restaurant. Recommend they publish the price of their specialty drinks. Food was average. I asked for shrimp instead of chicken in my fettuccine Alfredo and was told it would be a $2 up charge… I agreed....Bill came and it was a $5 up charge. Pointed this out to our waitress and she said she would correct the price…..gave her my card and later looked at my credit card charge and it was still a $5 up charge! Very disappointing that the staff lied to me! Be careful in this place!More

The food is inconsistent and overpriced. I had the worst hamburger in my life here, full of fat and grizzle, and haven't been back.

My friend and I had been out and about all day doing a wine tour, we popped in for a late night dinner exhausted and well, dehydrated. (He He) We were sat right away and our waiter brought us waters when he came over to...greet us. We ordered and the food was out within 10 minutes. Not only that, our waters were filled anytime they had gotten low. I got the spinach dip, it is to die for, a must try! My friend got a burger and fries and was not disappointed. We both got chocolate cake to go and, YUM! I loved everything about this restaurant and would highly recommend. VERY friendly staff and amazing food!More

They were busy and the acoustics do not absorb sound. It was too noisy to hold a conversation. They were out of the schnitzel so can’t speak to it but the pizza my sister ordered was dry and over cooked with way too little sauce...and cheese. When we complained, the waiter brought it back doused with some garlic butter which did not address the real problems. My salmon was ok but the risotto was horrible. Appeared to be a reheated clump from a day or two before. My other sister ordered Cajun pasta which was the best of the bunch. Just not many options on the menu to choose from.More

I have visited Ste. Genevieve numerous times, yet this was my first visit to this lovely restaurant. How have I missed it all these years? The dinner was great, and the server was even better. She was so personable. The portions are generous, so my...friend and I split an appetizer and a dinner, to our satisfaction. While you are here, consider trying one of the local wines!More

When we first checked into the hotel we were pleasantly surprised.....we walked around town/had dinner at Audubon's restaurant/walked around some more and went back to room. When we turned down the bed it was quite disturbing.....there was what appeared to be poop smeared on bottom...sheet and also on top sheet. We called manager and a woman delivered new sheets (I asked for pillowcases because who knows what went on in there) We checked out early the next morning because we were still grossed out by the night before's discovery. So, in spite of thinking this was an awesome place; we left really disappointed.More

Last weekend we spent some time in Sainte Genevieve, MO. One of the local establishments we went to was Audubon's, once for a trip the bar and another visit for a late lunch. The restaurant is on the corner of Main Street and Market Street,...and they do have a small hotel above the restaurant. All in all the restaurant and bar area were set up nicely with plenty of space between tables, chairs, and booths, and it was incredibly clean. Service was great on both visits and everyone there was really nice! Everything we ate and drank was good and the prices were well matched with the portion sizes. If/when we find ourselves in Sainte Genevieve again, we'll be sure to stop back in!More

I live within walking distances from this place. When it first opened it served great food with excellent service..they had good bar specials and wine by glass. within a little over a year the restaurant was leased to a guy that is known for cutting...corners and both the food and service declined. I became a once in a while customer from a customer eating there 2-3 times a week as i was renovating my house. I went back because they had a great burger with balsamic glaze and the pizza was fresh. Now the pizza is on flat bread and terrible..not completely cooke or sometime overcooked. I have gone back for takeout often with inconsistencies seen e.g different size burgers hardly ever cooked but well done (i like med rare). Always the fries serving size varies greatly but always not hot. I have called the owners and they say always they are going through training and staff issues...for 2-3 years? D not get me wrong sometimes it is good but not consistent enough. i bartended for 15 years...they have no real bartender. Im wishing them success they are nice people but the food is either overpriced for the quality or not consistent ...yet sometimes very good just not often.More
