... over the Sausage, Egg & Cheese and Chorizo, Egg & Cheese savory kolaches. But none of them were better than just OK. Our party-of-four also got a small collection of sweet kolaches: cream cheese, blueberry, and cherry & toasted almond. Those were equally disappointing....The doughs were flavorless & very much like a hamburger bun, and the fillings/toppings were very bland. Counter service was friendly & quick early on a weekday morning, and it was helpful to have a label in the lid of the carry-out box to identify each savory kolache type. But for breakfast food quality, it wasn't worth another try.More

Popped in here for the first time to take lunch home from a friend's recommendation. I clearly didn't know what how to order. The staff seemed annoyed and impatient while I attempted to order. Now that I know how, I'll probably be back to take...away again.More

My husband and I LOVE St. Louis Kolache. We prefer the savory fillings--his favorite is jalapeño popper and mine is sausage and gravy, but there are several we really like! There are so many different flavors. The dough is a little sweet, just the right...amount.More

One of the best places to eat in St. Louis, I absolutely love ‘em. All the different Kolache’s they offer are phenomenal. Even better is how great they are for an incredible meal on the go. GO AND EAT HERE, you will LOVE it!!!

This restaurant is set back off of Lindbergh Blvd. It is accessible via Baur Road. It's small, and only has few tabkes, but I'm sure they do a lot of take-out business. It's a breakfast and lunch place, closing at 2PM. They serve various forms...of kolache, a central European food which is basically a fluffy piece of bread with an inside filling. They have breakfast and lunch options, many involving meat (including Pappy's BBQ). My wife and I had a spinach and artichoke kolache, very good! Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.More

Today was our first visit. I've heard about kolaches for a while, and my wife surprised me today with the suggestion of a visit. The place is small. It offers a few tables. Most of the business seems to be carryout. They offer coffee and...other beverages but the main event are the kolaches. Kolaches - warm soft bread either topped or surrounding a tasty filling. They have sweet, savory, specialty and daily special kolaches. You can have them served at room temperature or have them warmed up. What should you do? It depends on your preference. I had two kolaches at room temperature. One of them I would have had warmed up. Experiment and see what you like. The counter staff was attentive and quick. They answered my questions with ease and were happy to help. The seating area is extremely clean. It is small so you may not find seating, but it seems most of their business is takeout. Kolaches seem to be a new thing on the St Louis culinary seen. A common office hospitality is for someone to bring in bagels. Next time try kolaches. You may get a raise. Yes - Czech it out!More

I came in randomly (not ever hearing of kolache), but surprised. Very delicious and fast. I was running late but starving, and was only in the place for about 3 minutes and went on my way. The food selection is very inexpensive (under $5) with...a drink. Definitely will come backMore

I stop by here about once a month and try something different every time. Chicken bacon ranch is a favorite as well as buffalo chicken and jalapeno popper. I'm not much of a sweet person, so i cannot recommend any of those. Having said that,...the dough is on the sweet side and I don't like to each just the dough, I like it with a savory flavor added. When we travel I usually buy a couple for my husband and a couple for myself, they keep for a couple of days in a sealed baggie and up to a week in a food savor. They are a fun alternative to doughnuts or bagels.More
