Our server was Luis. Luis met us at the door and delivered us to our table. A nice touch. The food quality was outstanding. To start with the chips and salsa landed on our table quickly. Great Salsa, no preservatives there. If you like it a tad hotter, there are bottles of green and red habanero peppers on the table.... More

This was a Monday evening visit. We were seating immediately and quickly given menus and drink orders taken. Food came nice and hot! Chips and salsa refilled, no problem and YUMMY. Decor typical-Tex-Mex. Bar in the back of the dining area (I think). I'll be back!

Just have to share Mi Ranchito's carnitas are like the ones I learned to make in CA. They are soft and tasty on the inside with a little crunch on the outside. I haven't found this in other St Louis restaurants so thought I had not learned to make it correctly. It was so delicious. Loved the salsa with its... More

We had two low level mediocre experiences but tried again as they are very close and we were hungry. This time we did not order anything cooked fresh - we choose enchiladas and carne asada. So from the beginning - greeted and seated quickly. Lots of "Welcome Amigos". Quick and tasty free chips and salsa. The food came quickly and... More

We eat here several times a month and have NEVER had a dish that was less than excellent. In addition, the service is always perfect. Drinks and food are fast to get to the table, I don't have to look at my servers pleadingly when the chip basket is low, ingredients are always fresh and portions are plentiful. Seriously, I... Enjoyed a quick lunch with a friend. Pros- Fast, efficient, tasty, ample portions, roomy, not too noisy, clean. Cons- Parking lot is too small, staff not particularly engaging, some items served were not to order.

I've probably been there a dozen times. We work in Clayton and this is consistently a great place for food. It's usually very busy and the parking lot isn't very big. But, the prices are right, service is quick and food tastes great.

I have visited many Mexican restaurants in St. Louis and Mi Rachito is my favorite. The food is always great. The top shelf margaritas are amazing. When my family visits from out of town they always want to go to Mi Rachito's. Try the Yolanda enchiladas, the Chimichanga, and Pollo Tapatio.

The fajitas are good and the chiles releeno is good and light. You get a good portion for the money. The salsa has a good taste with a slight kick. The chips are fresh and hot. The service is good, even though they seem to want yo rush you when you first come in. I would eat here again. Parking... More

We have been eating here for several years and the food is consistently good. I would recommend the chicken soup, shrimp yucatan, and the bean dip.
