paid for premium seats on the railing for a cardinals game but the flags were at half mast for Lou Brock's death, so we couldn't see the mound or home plate all day. staff response was "too bad for you"

Visited the Brew House for lunch on business. Off season for the Cardinals and mid week so it was not very busy around 11:30. No wait and was seated very quickly. Service was quick. Server saw we were discussing business and didn’t overly interrupt but...kept glasses full. Both of us ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad and it was amazing. Full of flavor. Was easy to get lunch and out in under an hour which is not always the case downtown. Would go again.More
Hours online said they were open Friday night however we walked in the cold rain from Enterprise Center here at 5PM and doors were locked and the place wasn’t open. We weren’t the only people trying to go here either. There were 4 other groups...trying to do the same. No sign saying closed. We even emailed on Monday to see if they would be open but no one sent a response with an answer! Guess they’re not interested in providing customer service. With so many choices in STL we don’t need to try here again.More
Our first time at BBH. No game was going on. Our waitress was friendly and nice. We ordered Baja fish, Korean BBQ sandwich, fish and chips. Food was great. This is a great place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere across from the ball field.
I went down to check out the ball park while on a work trip and went into have dinner, Great service, great food!
I had make reservations for 5 people at 2:45 on a Saturday with a Cubs vs Cards game later at 6pm. We showed up on time and where seated right away. This place has alot going on being connected right next to FOX SORTS LIVE....The food, service and beers where all good. If you order the bigger sized draft beers you get to take the glassware home. The pricing is what you expect for being right downtown. We saw family's with young kids up to some older gray hair couples all having fun. Can't wait to go back.More
Came here with my husband and two kids. We all enjoyed it. Food and drinks were great. The brussels sprouts appetizer was fantastic. The place is huge. Many different places to sit (outside, inside, huge separate sports bar area with high top tables, second level,...beer garden, etc). It was pretty empty on the Saturday night that we went, because there was no ball game that day. I imagine if there was though, that the place would be very packed. I like the open-air atmosphere on a nice night.More
We arrived a couple of hours before the game - planning a leisurely lunch. The hostess told us there was a 30 minute wait and gave us a buzzer. 40 minute later I checked with the hostess only to find our buzzer never activated and...my name not on the list. She consulted a gentleman who I assumed to be a manager who directed us to a high top table at the bar. Our waitress was not very friendly, we only ordered appetizers thinking that would be fairly quick, but it took more than 30 minutes to get fries and wings. During that wait my grandson had to move to another seat because water was dripping from the ceiling onto him (air conditioner). The loaded fries were barely loaded with any toppings and the fries were very dry and not hot at all. Wings did not have the sauce that we ordered. My soda glass sat empty for quite some time but the waitress did offer a refill at the same time she handed me the check. Ugh!!! Next game we will get hot dogs and eat at our seats. Such a huge disappointment!More
Had lunch today at the BrewHouse at Ballpark Village in St. Louis after a group tour of Busch Stadium III. While I did not expect this to be high cuisine, I did expect it to be regular service and a decent meal - wrong on...both counts. Our waitress, Casey, was "not great" to be polite. The place was nearly empty and our table was not that big but it took about 15 minutes for waters and iced teas. Then when we placed the order it took about 45 minutes more for the food - mostly salads - to arrive. After that she was super fast with bringing the bills - and she did not bring my change back. I never in any way, shape, or form intended to leave her a nearly 40% tip. I had merely put down a few bills expecting my change so I had some $1s for her regular tip for sub-standard service. In any case, no money came back to me (perhaps this is because I paid in cash) even though we were waiting around. Also when she started clearing the table she spilled a ton of water down me and my bags. WOW that was the topper. Between the slow service, a brisket sandwich that was dry and not as described, then no change and getting sloshed with water afterward, dining there was a big mistake. Even if the Brew House has the only food available in BPV going forward, I will just wait until I get home to eat!More
We read that the Biergarten at the ballpark village had live music and $3 beer the first Friday of the month so decided to go. Got there at 3:30 was told the bar was not opened then the manager told us the time had changed...to 5 to 8 (we showed him Biergarten site) and he said it was wrong ---- you would have thought he would offer us at least one beer at $3 but no. We left and came back at 6 --- the music was awful and the $3 beer stopped when the wrist bands came in at 7 NOT 8. Serve was marginal and the food was cold ---- never going back!More
