The is place was great. We sat outside. We ordered the fried ravioli and the dolmathes. Both were so good. I recommend for sure.

My cousin came in n town for his birthday. I picked this restaurant because The Hill has great food. There were 5 of us dining here for lunch. Neither of us were impressed with any of the food we had. The toasted ravioli looked delicious...but the beef could have been seasoned more. My spinach stuffed ravioli was okay. I think it was just my personal tastes. My cousin’s wife didn’t even eat her dish. The birthday cannoli tasted overly sweet. The decor was nice. The atmosphere was nice. The service was good until the server forgot to bring the free birthday cannoli 3 times. She kept saying she forgot each time she came to the table. Since each dish was a let down we decided that this is not a place we will visit again.More

Fantastic! Only maybe second to the North end of Boston. This is the best Italian I have ever had. Homemade noddles. Locally sourced meat. Get the toasted raviolis just because you should. Not the best but very solid. Our table ordered: meatball pasta with pink...sauce. Excellent! Volpi sausage pasta with bolognese sauce. Excellent! Palmero Style chicken. Excellent! Everyone was stuffed. The bread is fantastic too. If you are in the area, go. If you are driving through, go.More

What a gem! if you were looking for authentic Italian/Greek food, you’ve found it. Located right in The Hill neighborhood which is filled with lots of delicious Italian eateries. We dined and were warmly greeted at the door. a The wait was short. We are...foodies and we’re very excited to try out Anthonino’s! We started with the toasted ravioli and spanakopita appetizers. My ten year old gave both a 10! My husband and my 8 yo shared the grilled salmon pasta. I ordered the four meat pizza which all of us shared. We shall return to Anthonino’s/the Hill when we return to St Louis.More

First time going to this restaurant after reading reviews and we were not disappointed. Down home great Italian food was served with very attentive service. Price was good for the value. Will definitely go again

We had a wonderful meal here. The service was friendly and the food came out quick. We did try the famous toasted ravioli and it was delicious. The sauce and meatballs were also great. We will definitely come back again.

Visited here one evening for dinner after seeing the show on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The restaurant is in a quaint local community ‘Little Italy’, out of the main city but there is ample free street parking. The restaurant was busy, and we arrived and...had to stand around in the entrance area despite several servers walking past us and completely ignoring us. Eventually after a few minutes, someone decided to help us and provided us a table. We then met our server who was friendly and chatty. We opted to try the famous Toasted Ravioli and then share the All-Meat Pizza for entrée. The Toasted Ravioli were really good, especially the marinara dipping sauce which was REALLY good! The pizza was huge, tasty, and fully loaded with toppings. Our only complaint was that there were several high-salt meats, which made the whole pizza just REALLY salty. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit here, the food was good, portions were big and service (once we were seated) was really good. If you are in St Louis, this restaurant is worth the drive out of the city to try!More

I just dined at Anthoninos for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint! Very knowledgeable waitress, delicious food and great service. We all loved our food selections. I had the volpi sausage pasta with pink sauce and it was fantastic. Also the tiramisu...was to die for. Will definitely be back!More

We had an amazing family party at Anthoninos. They set up an event for 20 people. Meegan took care of everything with the set up and our waitress Cherish took care of everything during the meal. Can’t recommend this more. If you have a larger...event reach out to the restaurant, they’ll get Meegan involved and all you need to do is show up. They decorated the tables and arranged a delicious chocolate cake for us. 5 star. Food was great too!More

First time back here since Covid; always a favorite before. Unfortunately - quality of food has dropped. Toasted raviolis were the best - they have shrunk and filling mushy. The gyro meat on top of salad used to be fresh shaved; was fried too hard....The calamari appetizer was a bit limp. Roasted garlic pizza was good, though. Undecided about comming back in future....More

We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and saw on the menu a pizza made with figs, prosciutto, goat cheese and mozzarella. So, we had to try the place out. Seating was quick and with very attentive servers. We ordered the fried raviolis, which were tasty...but a bit over cooked. The marinara was warm and delicious and went very well with the raviolis. The house bread and olive oil was very tasty. The pizza was the hit of the evening. The crust was perfectly baked and the right thickness. The toppings blended so very well together and made the dinner a great success. If you like figs you really should try this pizza.More

I just had one of my best evenings ever at a restaurant. It was Jeanette's birthday and the night started great before we entered the door, as a welcome birthday sign was posted on the glass. We arrived just prior to our 6:00 reservation and...were shown directly to our booth, passing several parties waiting outside. I am glad the reservation system works! We opened up with some delicious spanakopita which set the tone for great things to come. Jeanettte was extremely pleased with her Palermo Style Chicken in the fantastic sauce. However, when my 8 ounce Steak Mudiga (filet mignon) hit my palate I knew I was in heaven. This was probably one of the top three meals I have enjoyed in my 76 years!!! The final surprise birthday cannoli for her was the piece-de-resistance. A well done goes to our server Bailee, the kitchen staff, and the rest of the support team at Anthonino's Taverna!More

Wouldn’t return. Chicken Parm was like an “institutional chicken patty”. Salmon as overcooked. Service was very slow. Asked for Aperol Spritz - no Aperol - in an Italian Restaurant!! Then asked for an Italian White - told they didn’t have any - slammed the wine...list in front of us with her hand on a section that said Mediterranean Wines - Guess what! There was a white from Italy. She obviously didn’t know anything about their wines. Had to send salads back - smelled and tasted sour. Find someplace else!More

My friends/family had lunch here the other day and it was below average/average at best. The food was so-so and something you could get at a ton of restaurants all over the US and honestly, the service was SO slow - it was pathetic. The...restaurant was not even crowded and it took over an hour to get our food. After having a meal at Charlie Gitto's on the Hill -- Anthonino's Hill restaurant falls way short. We won't be back.More
