Went here for dinner while staying at a hotel downtown. Not a lot do do downtown STL so this was a nice find. Big restaurant with lots of outdoor seating. Good food and drinks.

We visited St. Louis when many restaurants and attractions were closed due to COVID-19. Downtown St. Louis was a virtual ghost town. It was depressing. But Lucas Park Grille was open and we went in for dinner. We were so glad we did. The food...was absolutely fantastic and the service was very good. I asked for a standard table when I saw that almost all were high tops and we were graciously accommodated. I had a one quarter boneless half chicken on a bed of carrots, Brussels sprouts, and fingerling potatoes - delicious. My husband had a BLT which he said was the best he ever had; my daughter had a steakhouse salad, and my son had barbecued salmon. Both excellent. My husband and daughter had Gooey Butter Cake topped with homemade strawberry ice cream and my son had cheesecake. Also, very delicious. No complaints at all.More

Excellent service and the food was amazing. We had 3 apps: lobster mac, calamari, and spinach/artichoke dip. All were delish! 2 of us has the tenderloin and both agreed melt in your mouth. Same with sliders. Power bowl got rave reviews, as did the rib...eye. Sides were awesome too. The gooey butter cake was excellent but surprisingly, the star of the dessert was the raspberry sorbet on top, wow!More

We enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day meal here. I loved the short ribs! Very good, tender, and delicious. My wife adored the salmon. Eric was a fantastic server and took care of everything. I’d highly recommend experiencing Lucas Park Grille for yourself.

If you're staying downtown Saint Louis, I'd highly recommend Lucas Park Grille. I went here with a business group for dinner and there was something for everyone on the menu. I had the short ribs which were excellent, but the 5 members in my party...all had something different and all thought it was great. Nice atmosphere and not stuffy, you can get a table where you can watch a football game or something a little more secluded. Service was excellent.More

When I worked in St. Louis in the 1960s, there weren't many first-class restaurants to choose from. Tony's Italian restaurant was the standard at that time and it remains one of the best today. But St. Louis is a much better restaurant town that it...used to be. One reason why is Lucas Park Grille. Located at 1234 Washington Avenue, the 8,000-square-foot restaurant and bar with 25-foot loft-style ceilings and stone, cooper and brick decor and three fireplaces in the elegant dining room has become one of St. Louis' showplaces, truly a place to see and be seen. And executive chef Gilberto Espinosa's cuisine keeps customers coming back for more. My wife and I started with fire roasted tomato soup, crab cakes, calamari and the house salad of mixed greens, fuji apples, spiced pecans, bleu cheese crumbles and port wine vinaigrette. For an entree, my wife chose her favorite, grilled salmon with creamy corn, butternut squash, green beans, brussel sprouts and dried cranberries. I opted for the chargrilled Angus beef ribeye steak with hand-cut fries, parmesan aioli and cognac butter with sauteed mushrooms and sauteed spinach. Dessert anyone? We shared large portions of house-made bread pudding and house-made gooey butter cake with blueberry compote and vanilla bean ice cream. Yes, Lucas Park Grille is a place to see and be seen--and eat heartily.More

This is a very nice restaurant, with white table cloths and napkins. The food was delicious. The prices were average for lunch in St. Louis. We had a group of ten people, and the staff was very accomodating to our group.

After a long drive, we wanted to walk to dinner from our hotel. the Lucas Park Grille is just a few blocks from the Last Hotel. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately on the patio. Our server was very attentive, and...since we were not in a hurry, didn’t rush us at all. Dinner - short ribs for husband and shrimp and pasta for me - were excellent. All in all, a just right way to end a long day.More

Short rib bourguignon is a must! It’s served over creamy mashed potatoes and the combo melts in your mouth and fills your belly with a hearty goodness!

This location has a great patio - without the bistro tables so popular inside. We had a group who enjoyed great service, food, and atmosphere. The drink specials were tasty - so I heard- the salads lovely- and the meat selections very popular. Our server...could not have been more attentive and the patio was ideal. The inside looked lovely- but as a short women the bistro stools are not a preferred seating option. It did seem like there were other choices. I would recommend this location for groups or a romantic night night. Check the menu as it was very meat heavy. The sides were excellent - go with those as a meal.More

Stopped by for an early dinner during the home opener. The restaurant is very spacious and has multiple dinning areas for parties or more intimate meals. They have a large patio with tables, couches, and a fireplace. Lucas Park also has a large bar to...dine and drink at. The menu isn't the biggest but they make up for it with quality. From our appetizers to our meals everyone enjoyed the food and left full and happy. The smoked chicken meatballs and short rib sliders were great starters. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked & seasoned. The half chicken was juicy and tender. The restaurant has a great open cozy atmosphere with lots of big windows for natural light and window seat cushioned with throw pillows. Service was just as good as the food and atmosphere, we will definitely return next time we are in town.More
