I find this frozen custard creaming like soft ice cream at best nothing special really. It's located some distance out from downtown. If you happen to be nearby then by all mean go and have a try. Otherwise it's really no worth the trouble to drive out there.

A friend said we had to go. Out of the way, but fun late night dessert. It softens quicker than you think. Don't hold it upside down like the servers does!!

Always a must when in St Louis. Had custard elsewhere but this is some of the best. So many options it is hard to choose.

Enjoyed the lemon crisp (i think it was called that). I think anything from here would be good. Service is quick. Prices are good. Parking lot is tiny and no place to eat -picnic table wise. Little out of the way. Would love to see a store in fairview heights, il.

I heard about Ted Drewe's on the Travel Channel and promised myself that if I were ever in St. Louis I would go here. I visited on a Saturday evening and it was bustling. I talked to lots of friendly locals before finally making my way up to the window with a flavor in mind. It was SO GOOD. Definitely... More

Was on a tour and stopped for a treat. Wonderful and refreshing! Nothing fancy to look at, but custard is made right on site!

My daughter and I are in St. Louis frequently for hospital visits, and we always look forward to visiting Ted Drewe's. I don't even like ice cream, but I LOVE Ted Drewe's frozen custard...salted caramel is my favorite. Not only is it delicious, but I always feel nostalgic ordering at the window and eating it outside. :-)

Ted Drewes is a popular frozen custard vendor here in St. Louis, and it IS delicious custard! They sell in grocery stores too, but of course, those are just base flavors, go to the Ted Drewes shop for mixes and different flavors. Delicious. It's an odd place to hang out, people just standing around socializing eating their custard. What I... More

This is a landmark of St. Louis. If you like ice cream and want it good and rich and thick, this is the place to go. It's been around for a long time
