My wife and I were skeptical about a New Orleans-themed menu in St. Louis, but the food was great -- gulf oysters, a spicy lobster po-boy, and crawfish etouffee were all very good. Nice beer selection, too. Maybe best of all, the place has great atmosphere, especially in the late afternoon before a Cardinals game. Definitely not a chain restaurant.... More

A block or so away from Busch Stadium, the Broadway Oyster Bar is the perfect pregame or post game place to drink and eat. A great patio and the best Cajun food in St. Louis. This place has a very authentic feel to it and often has cool live music.

Very nice review. We like being "perfect" for eating and drinking before or after Cards' games. We are thankful that you think we have the best Cajun/Creole food in the St. Louis plus an authentic feel with cool live music offered 7 nights a week. Thank you for the visit and the wonderful review. We hope to see you again.... More

If you're looking for fancy, this place isn't for you. As the sign on the front door says, leave your attitude at the door. However, if you're looking for good food and a fun, laid back atmosphere, you'll love this place. The shrimp & grits, raw oysters and pulled pork sliders were all delicious. Definitely try some local draft beers.... More

Wow...I have to say, the first thing that may come to mind is a dive! I mean that in the sense that it is an old "joint"...old school, everything with the exception of the kitchen. It is brand spanking new. The atmosphere is soooo cool. You just want to hang out all night. The place is clean. The staff was... More

"NOLA in the LOU! We like it. We are also very happy to be called a dive or a joint because, as you noted, we are very old school except for the kitchen. You are yet another example of a person who gets what we do and we love you for that. Thank you so much for the visit and... More

Stopped in after Cardinals game with family. It was the first time for all 6 of us. Great experience !!! We tried various types of oysters and we not disappointed by any of them. It is perfectly located across the street from the baseball stadium. It is in wonderful old looking house. It has a nice patio too. The menu is full of great gulf style seafood. We ordered a cheesecake they had as an appetizer. You wil love it.

The atmosphere is always electric and makes it a must visit for anyone passing through town. The service is warm and the food does not disappoint. Outstanding!!! Was in town for business and met some friends for dinner. The menu has something for everyone. I tried a alligator sausage cheese cake (sounds gross but was delicious) for our appetizer and had the lobster, mushroom pasta for my dinner and have to say it was delicious!!!!
