We received very good service, but the food was bland and really didn't have much taste. Probably won't return.

Must try the toasted ravioli. I usually get the manicotti or baked lasagna but I honestly have never had a bad anything from them.
Great menu. Great food. Great people. But I am prejudiced. They named a winter lunch special after me. Try the Friday lunch special - unlimited soup and salad. $8.99. plus warm Italian bread. The minestrone soup is excellent. Their house salad is 1 of the best in the city. Come to The hill and try it. you'll like it. (maybe... More
Our friends booked us in for dinner and I'm glad we made a reservation as the place was very busy at 6pm. We shared a huge board of meats, cheeses, vegetables and pickles to start which was really good. I had a seafood linguini to follow which was lovely - far too much for me to finish though, a lot... The food was very tasty, fresh and warm comfortable dinning on a cold night. Staff was very helpful and professional. We will definitively go back.
Friends recommended Mama's and are we glad we found it! Authentic, northern Italian cuisine with many seafood options. We loved our simple, fresh salads with homemade balsamic viniagrette, to our entrees, and a tiramisu gelato cheesecake that was scrumptious. And the wait staff were personable, welcoming, and very helpful. Highly recommend.
Three of us ate there the weekend of October 21st. We all ate veal and it was only so so, nothing special at all. Salads and bread very average. Tiramasu okay but I've had better. Choice of wines limited to type, Chianti, Chardonnay etc. No wine menu that we could tell. The only thing that was really good was the... More
We were warmly greeted at the check in and even though we were late for our reservation (bad traffic in Downtown) they kindly seated us. Server was friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. The pastry chef came out to share information about his desserts. We started off with the toasted ravioli. They were tasty but the smallest ones we... More
Went with a couple of friends and ordered the antipasto, lasagna, pollo caprese and eggplant parmigiana. The entrees were outstanding. The antipasto platter had fantastic cheeses, sweet peppers and meats. The olives (I'm an olive fanatic) were a bit salty and didn't taste like the highest quality (sorry mama!). That is literally, my only criticism. The atmosphere was sweet and... More
