Wonderful dinner on Easter, sitting outside to dine. The bread is simple and so fresh. The Grbic salad with grilled shrimp was delicious. They grilled the shrimp with seasonings perfectly and I got a lot of them. I got the feta cheese for the salad...on the side. The light salad dressing on it is great. The calamari appetizer was good, but not my favorite sauce that they serve with it. The veal snitzel with mushroom sauce and spaetzle was so yummy and the portion size was huge. We will return. I really want to try the chicken cordon bleu next time!!More

Thoroughly enjoyed Grbic after finding it on TA. It was our first night eating inside a restaurant in 11 months after completing covid vaccinations. It was therefore a very special evening. We arrived on an unusually cold night. The large fireplace in the spacious dining...room made for a perfect setting. The menu of Eastern European comfort food was also perfect for the weather, which is why I had chosen the restaurant. We shared a crispy cauliflower appetizer, which was a delicious starter. I ordered the goulash and my boyfriend ordered the halibut. Both of us were very pleased with our food. I had read that portions were huge so I did not order a vegetable side. When the entrees arrived, we didn’t find them huge at all. As I had been traveling all afternoon to STL, I was quite hungry and ordered a side of broccoli. The waiter returned with it immediately. I expect to be visiting STL monthly for the rest of 2021 and definitely hope to return to Grbic to try other menu options.More

I recently was in St. Louis and our large party had a fabulous dinner at Grbic. The ambience is great as well. We shared a few of the appetizers which were all very good and I had the Grbic salad which I loved. Most of...the people in our group had the Schnitzel with Spaetzel which everyone loved. I don't think there was any food left on any of their plates. We finished our meals with the Baklava and Apple Strudel which were so good. I highly recommend this restaurant.More

Highly recommended. Celebrated 10 year wedding anniversary here. Great service, great food. I have spent some time in Slovakia, Prague and Hungary. Food was as authentic as if I was there. I had goulash and chicken roulade. My wife had the Sarma. Finished the meal...with some Turkish coffee.More

This is a great place for a first date dinner. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Very attentive waitstaff made our dining experience a memorable event. So many things to try on the menu that I have to go back to...try more items. I am sure everyone will have a wonderful dining experience from what I have experienced. Looking forward to dining here again.More

First night in St. Louis (visiting from NC) and hubs picked this place out from a random listing. SO GLAD he did. We weren't familiar with Croatian food, but found it a wonderful change. Everything about Grbic's was perfection! Prices on the steep side, but...worth every penny. Menu cannot be read without salivating. So many fabulous options. Selections mostly feature great cuts of meat, old world sauces and spatzel/ pastas, but there's something for everyone. Waiter was very patient and quite successful in helping to identify dishes we'd like. My goulash and polenta was hardy but also delicious. Best polenta I've ever had. The decor is captivating. Hand painted murals of Croatia (now I want to go!), graceful brick archways throughout, a fabulous antique organ, a fireplace/hearth suitable for a king's castle, and lots of fun, old world souvenirs to wonder about. The bathrooms are roomy, very clean, and also decorated with wonderful, hand painted murals. You won't regret and will long remember dinner at Grbic's!More
