Stopped in and tried out several of their brews. My favorite was the Rye IPA, but also liked the American IPA, and the Expo IPA. The Pumpkin Ale was interesting, but one was sufficient. The Double Bean Blonde had a nice mocha flavor.

We love brew pubs and historic buildings and this provides both. Although the brewery has only been around since the 90s, the building is over 100 years old and can't be modified much. It started out as a paper mill. The menu was very eclectic and interesting, with an emphasis on German food. We were going to order an appetizer... More

Don't come here expecting to find a Bud Light. Instead you'll find a nice selection of craft beers and ales made on the premises (I think they still do tours). They have good food too but I come for the drinks. Wonderful atmosphere in an old rehabbed building.

Was driving around and spotted this place. Nice building but wasn't expecting the great atmosphere. The food was good and we were impressed with a proper shepherds pie with lamb. The swordfish special was good.

The meatloaf muffin was excellent! The fresh cut fries were also very good. I'm not a beer lover, but great atmosphere for some drinks and food.

If you come, it should be for the Beer, not the food. I would highly recommend trying the beer sampler, you get to choose 5 beers to sample for $10. The food was just so-so, but the menu was unique, it wasn't the traditional menu you normally see at a restaurant. The atmosphere was good though as well as the... More

Sampled beers... Double bean blonde ale very tasty. Ordered mussels, crab cake sandwich, Reuben, and Cuban- thumbs up. Warm potato salad also good. Only down side- not much of kids menu. More of a place for a date night than to bring kids on a family vacation.

Stopped in for quick late lunch before a Cardinals game. Food was absolutely delicious and the beer was great. Interesting menu, food was well prepared. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

St. Louis is a beer town and Schlafly Tap Room is the top of the list. The food is fine, but really that isn't why you would choose it. They have the best of the Schlafly brews plus most of the time you will find some experiential choices not yet on the menu. Highly suggest the sampler - 5 beers... More

We stopped by Schlafly after dinner, so we didn't have a chance to try their food, but the beer was all good and the bartenders were friendly and chatty. There's plenty of parking if you drive, or take a cab/Uber.
