Got an Appetizer Sampler to go while staying at next door Drury Inn. Food was very good and homemade. Reviewed menu and found that everything appeared to be very authentic and homemade. Nice touch for being "off The Hill" location. Would like to try again.

What an amazingly warm family owned establishment. Everyone from servers to Mr. Bartolino himself works to make your experience magnificent. My party was greeted with a smile & immediately seated by Mr. Bartolino. Shortly after Mary, our server came over with more pleasantries as well as daily specials and recommendations. We all tried & LOVED to Carrot Soup of the... More

We met a relative for an early dinner here last Saturday night. It was the holiday season and we expected anyplace to be busy, but this place was really hopping. Since we wanted to share some photos and catch up on family matters, we asked for a booth in the back near the hotel. Luckily it was available. Wine by... More

We had lunch. The salad I had was wonderful and had a flavorful dressing. My three-cheese toasted cheese sandwich was really good. My wife had an Italian Sausage dish with onions and green peppers she said was truly a masterpiece.

Bartolino's Osteria is located inside the Drury Inn & Suites in South St. Louis, near "The Hill" Italian restaurant district, and was very easy to find. It has a very friendly atmosphere, albeit a bit loud. The wait staff was attentive, and the food very good. A good value overall.

Bartolino's is and has been my favorite restaurant in St. Louis for many years. Bart, Mike, Linda and all their staff make you feel like you've walked into their living room when you enter. Pizza, salads, pasta- you must try the baked pasta, steaks & veal. It's all done so well. Favorites you have to try-- The Bart's pizza, Baked... More

The appetizers, salads, sandwiches and pizza are the best around. Sauces, dressings, bread, crusts, coffee, wines are all fresh. The place is just plain pretty--so Sicilian. The staff is remarkably friendly, efficient and attentive no matter how busy they are. We thoroughly enjoy dining here. You will too. Leave bad attitudes at home, please. It will destroy your experience and... More

We had a group of 12 adults. The waiter filled our drink orders promptly as soon as each of our party arrived. The waiter explained the specials for each section of our tables. We had bread, oil, balsamic vinegar and Parmesan. The food was delicious and very filling. The waiter was very courteous and responsive to our needs. I recommend... More

While situated in a hotel, Bartolino's is not your run-of-the-mill hotel restaurant. Our party ordered the gamut in entrees: pork chops, sole, pasta, and veal. Each one was exceptional. Side dish salads and vegetables complemented the entrees nicely. Service was crisp, friendly, and efficient--not too much, not too little. Sorry, can't comment on desserts--we were all sated from the meal!
