Went there for a dinner on a weekday? Stayed outside on the terrace. Food was very good and service was nice. Portions are big, had to ask for take away at the end. Recommended if you are into a bit higher resto/service experience.

We tried toasted (fried) ravioli for the first time ever, and it was good, but nothing to rave about. My wife's salad was pretty plain, but fresh, crisp and tasty. My linguini tutto mare was a large portion and loaded with sauce, and a decent amount of seafood, but nothing that made you say, "wow." The bread (OK, but not... More

Took out of town guest here for lunch. We were seated on pleasant outdoor patio. Menu looked interesting, but prices were high (about $13.00 for lunch main course with salad or other side priced separately.) Service was not attentive and food, when it arrived, not worth the price or wait. All three pasta dishes were somewhat unpleasant, overcooked, or otherwise... More

Came here with my husband for a quick lunch date and we were both impressed. The wait staff was very nice and our food was delivered promptly. I had the baked mostacolli and it was very good, but keep in mind that you'll need a box for sure! There's two full servings of food in each dish but the good... More

Favazzas Restaurant is "On the Hill" in STL, just down the street from the childhood homes of Yogi Berra and Joe Garigiola. It is old style Italian with all the atmosphere that entails. The setting is charming and the food is fabulous. I had their Veal Picatta - what I ALWAYS order because it is the BEST - on the... More

Just picked this restaurant as we drove on the Hill. Atmosphere was casual located in an old, well kept building that had lots of charm. We decided to sit on the large patio outside, which was comfortable and very practical for the summer. Ordered the Sicilian salad, pasta primavera and cavatteli with meat sauce with meatballs. Nothing to say other... More
