Found this restaurant via trip advisor when we were looking for something with vegan options. Visited around 6:00 on a Thursday night. Restaurants was busy but plenty of place to sit and park. It seems like they also do a good take out business. Food...More

confusing menue but always great food. You can split a wrap for lunch they are big. the rice paper wrap is tough to eat, a little odd, go for the plate or the soft tortilla.

This is a wonderful place to get delicious and healthy fusion fare with an Asian bent. There are so many dishes to choose from, multiple visits are required to taste them! Love the sauces. Service is great and friendly.

I really like to try DIFFERENT kinds of restarrants, and this food was that plus a lot more! Our group was rather hungry after wandering around the Botanical Gardens for a few hours. Lona's was fairly close, so we gave it a try. I had...More

While visiting friends in STL, we decided to grab a hasty meal out. Because I have just started autoimmune protocol, we looked for a place with Paleo options. Lona's was a top rated find via Google. I admit to being a difficult customer and the...More

Lona's has incredible food, nothing on the menu is bad. The ingenious rice paper wraps are akin to getting a burrito at Chipotle and you'll need a to go box. Don't be afraid to sample any of the sauces, they're all delicious.

The two times I've been here, it was great. I've done wraps both times, once with the steak, the other was the big thai chicken wrap-- and they're as big as your head. We're talking plenty of food. I've gotten the glass noodles and the...More

Description
Lona’s LiL Eats is home of the Giant Rice Paper Wrap. We specialize in fresh St Louis-inspired Asian cuisine with a soul-food flare. We focus on more than just flavor; we focus on feeling and physical sensation. We use fresh ingredients just chopped, absolutely NO MSG, make all our seasonings and sauces from scratch- peeling the garlic, roasting peanuts, on up. Our food is filling, but won’t leave one feeling heavy.

Through collaboration, we have developed a menu that provides a wide variety of carnivore, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and paleo food. Our goal is to become one of the best places to eat in St Louis for all people regardless of both taste and diet.

We are often asked “is it Chinese food, or Thai food?” We are neither a Chinese or Thai restaurant. Lona’s cuisine is a conundrum. Lona soars from a hill-tribe-village on the side of a mountain visible from no road, housing fewer than 100 people. Pierce is from St Louis with French and Southern roots. They both love to cook and have been doing so together for 13 years. St Louis Post-Dispatch food critic, Ian Froeb, calls us “the future of dining,” we call it delicious.
