This is not the place for a quiet romantic dinner but the food was great and the service was very friendly 😊

Train Wreck has a hot sauce on wings and their other called “The Wreck”l ! Larger than normal wings flashed fried, taken out laid on paper towels, dipped in a wash, rolled in special spices, flash fried one more time and get ready to order...another order of incredible wings!More
I was a little disappointed. Got homemade chips with cheese dip. Decided ketchup on table and ranch on salad was better to dip chips in. Cheese was cold and not very tasty. I had the Swiss mushroom burger. It was good, but just average good....Serving portions were large. Wait staff was attentive and nice.More
The service was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was very good. Whether it's food or beer on tap they have a really good selection to chose from.
The place wasn't bad but it wasn't over the moon good either. VERY NOISY! Band was way too loud for a family dinner atmosphere. If the server cant hear you order ITS WAY TOO LOUD.
Another busy night and again the staff in the kitchen can't handle the flow. Waited 30 minutes for a couple of burgers and the attitude of the hostess and servers are as if they are working in conditions that really suck. Sorry but That was...my last attempt to be nice and give my local burger and bar a 4th chance.More
I visited the Train Wreck salon on a Friday night and was able to find a parking spot with little trouble. The establishment is a little dark inside so if that’s what you like this place is for you. Unfortunately we were seated next to...a bunch of LOUD children (4) and their parents didn’t seem to care about the loud nature of their volume. It does take away from our idea of a nice dinner. We had an appetizer of toasted ravioli, beef and a pepper jack cheese filling. It came out fast and hot and while it was good nothing to brag about. I ordered the bison burger and it was quite good and tasty, I substituted a salad for the baked beans and had potato salad. The potato salad was mustard based and quite good with onion, the iceberg salad was at best ok. The waitress was over many times to fill up my ice tea about 4x . I bet we might have had a better time with a little less noise( I do realize it’s Friday and families are there but this was over the top on their behavior. One of the kids had a hot sauce bottle up to his nose and kept sniffing GROSS) Again not the establishments fault. Would I go back not sure however I will request an area with less kids. So basically an appetizer, bison burger and sub a salad was an extra $2.00 and two ice teas with tip was almost $40.00. I do consider that a bit high.More
I enjoy taking my nieces. The place is a bit rustic and the bison burger was delicious. If you love local places, this one is enjoyable. Dress is casual. Price is reasonable.
Stopped in for lunch and was more than blown away by how friendly and out going their staff was. But even more impressive was the perfectly cooked bison burger. Wishing I would have got a second to go.
My husband and I have been coming to Train Wreck on Manchester for years. We live 40 miles west of St. Louis and drive in from time to time. We would never go to the one in Westport. No where near as good. Since we...only get out there occasionally we always order the same thing- the triple cheese burger basket with seasoned fries. I'm sure their other menu items are good too but we crave the triple cheese burger. They will only cook it medium or well done. Medium is a little too on the pink side for me so I always get it well done. It comes out exactly the same every time. Never had a problem. Delicious!! Many of the same servers have been there for years and remember us when we come in. Incredible!! We usually try to go early (11:00) for lunch. Highly recommend. Always take out of town guests here and to the Hill. A St. Louis tradition!More
