The menu was fantastic as were the prices. Loved all the soyrizo dishes! And plenty of options for meat eaters (and those not a fan of Mexican style food). Super reasonable prices for a large plate. Cool interior decor!

Whilst shopping in a department store the sales lady had mentioned this restaurant for us to try for breakfast. I am so glad we did. The food was wonderful and the was enough left over for us to have as a snack later in the day. My husband had the Southwest Slinger with gravy while I had the Rocket &... More

This place is unique. Small little neighborhood diner with an old time feel. The menu is great, featuring southwest style breakfast and lunch, including burritos, burgers, sopapillas, and more. It's not very big, so you may have a wait, especially if you come on a weekend, but rest assured, just climb into the school bus around the side of the... More

I love green and red chile, a staple of the Southwest. Such a treat to find it so well done and here in St. Louis. I eat here every Saturday and Sunday.

I kept seeing this place in lists of the best breakfasts in St Louis. 4 of us stopped in yesterday for a late breakfast. What a pleasant surprise. Since moving to Rolla in the mid-80s, my wife and I have spent many weekend mornings in the lower midwest searching for Mexican breakfasts that go beyond a burrito or omelet special.... More

A friend talked me into going. I'm not a sandwich person. But I have to say, my 6" sandwich was great. A 6" sandwich will fill you up completely. I didn't have dinner that day. The people were very friendly. Prices were great. I will definitely be back.

I have only eaten here for breakfast. Arriving at 8AM is essential to get a table without waiting. The chorizo is great. Fiery scrammble is also good. Top 2 for breakfast on Sunday

Southwest is a mainstay for every time that I visit St. Louis. The wait's never too long, especially since the food's worth it. Bloody Mary's here are a great morning after solution.

We arrived and were seated nearly 20 minutes later so why 5 stars? Because its worth the wait! Great food, nice portions and fair prices. We thought it was a little loud in there but this is not the Ritz and comes with a much more fair price. Good for families and the wait was easier with a visit to... More

A New Mexico themed diner. Interestingly, it is on Southwest Avenue. Their slogan is something like, A taste of the Southwest on Southwest.
