Really great Asian food. The waiter guided us through the huge menu and everything came as promised by the server. It was fresh and fast.

First quick food stop in the Arch City (St. Louis, MO) - for lunch around 11;00 AM very slow - a few locals out for lunch from work... The buffet food was fair, nothing to remember for our next trip. My party- 2 adults and...2 kids (under 10 (7 / 9) with 4 glasses of water (6 ounces-they had on the table waiting.) Kids can not find anything to eat. Items missed labeled. I had to go and get a refill of water. We were never asked for drink refills or how the food was. Remember they were not busy, just maybe about 16 to 20 people. My wife went to the restroom, and the handicap stall was used has extra supply storage. The total time spent in the restaurant was less than 30 minutes. no prices anywhere - no menu was offered, just pointed at buffet adults and kids both $10.95 each with no service that auto-added tip of 18% to check total of $56.80 - There was no service, the food was self-serve and was not that great. Never again!!More

This restaurant is within a block or two of the St Louis Arch. Can't remember what I had from the extensive menu, but it was delicious, perfectly cooked, Enjoyed being able to order meal with brown rice. Two other dining companions also enjoyed the meal....It's an open-feeling place, with no upscale pretensions. I gathered that staff are proud of serving simply fine Thai food!More

On my recent visit to St. Louis, I met for dinner at the Bamboo Bistro in the downtown area. I found the place large, open and clean, with very little dinner business and we were seated immediately by a person who seemed to be the...manager. We ordered steamed dumplings and spring rolls as appetizers and both were very good - the sauce for the rolls was spicy and unique. My dinner guest is a vegan and she ordered a vegetable mix with white rice and seemed well pleased. I had what turned out to be HUGE bowl of Viet Nam-style soup loaded with shrimp, mushrooms and several things I didn't recognize - but which were good. The broth was well-seasoned and satisfying but I was not able to manipulate the mass of noodles - my lack of skill rather than a shortcoming by the restaurant. It was a relaxed atmosphere with good food served in large portions at a reasonable price.More

I was in St Louis for a week at ate here four times...yikes I guess it was good! You can't go wrong with the crispy noodle dish cashew chicken or lo mein. Everything was really really good.

This restaurant is nestled right around all the major hotels near the Gateway Arch. Hilton, Hyatt, Drury, Marriott, etc. It has a small bar that can serve 5 or 6 people. For such a prime location the food and drink prices are reasonable, lower than...I expected. I ordered the Mongolian beef stirfry. You can tell they use well trained Chinese chefs in the back because the dish did have "guo chi", meaning optimal high temperature required for good authentic stirfry. However, the food was overly sugary, which is the sure sign that they serve Americanized Chinese food. If that's your thing, you will not be disappointed. They also serve a lunch buffet which I did not check out. No doubt it will serve all the crowd pleasers like General Tso's chicken, kung pao chicken, etc, and no doubt in American style. Again, many people don't mind the over-sweetened taste, and it can be a good bet for you. For me, the hunt for authentic Chinese food in St. Louis continues.More

We happened to just walk into Bamboo Bistro, as it was close to our hotel. The service was swift and friendly. The food was superb!!! If I ever get back to St. Louis I'd make sure to eat here again.

Stopped in this place for lunch. It was very average chinese food. Would not go out of my way to go to this place. There is plenty of food available on the buffet but there was absolutely nothing special about this place. Probably would not...return, would look for another restaurant with Chinese food.More

We have eaten here many times when we visit St. Louis. It’s one of our family favorites. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean and the food is great! Our teenagers ask to go here every time we are in town!!

We ate here while staying in downtown Saint Louis. The Bamboo has an extensive menu. Both our meals were excellent along with the service.
