Some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten. The burnt ends were perfect ! If you don't like people standing over you as you eat get it to go. The staff handles the crowds excellently . Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in STL.

We'd been to Pappy's Smokehouse on a previous visit and we loved it so much that we thought we'd give Bogart's a shot. We weren't disappointed! The burnt tips, ribs, potato salad, and pork rinds were delicious!!!!!!

In a town full of great barbecue joints, Bogart's stands out. The meat is excellent. The sides are great. The atmosphere (or lack thereof) has South Saint Louis written all over it. The only problem is you have to get there early because there's always a line at lunch time. Oh, and the bbq sauces are some of the best.... More

The ribs were smoked perfect. Fell right off the bone and the sauce selection was right on target for variety and taste

Have been to Bogart's multiple times and have never been disappointed. Perfect smoke and spice on their ribs and brisket. Cool atmosphere. Don't be alarmed by the line or the wait for a table. Folks move in and out quickly.

Try everything on the menu possible, and you won't be disappointed. I really love the baked beans side, potato salad, etc. (the chips are good too, but I would go with one of the sides that they make in-house)

Exceptional food. Great choice of sauces! Wonderful sides. Just like homemade... applesauce, Cole slaw, and potato salad. The pulled pork was delicious and the sweet and smokey sauce I put on it made it fabulous! I would suggest eating in or take out as I had the take out once and it was wonderful! Make it a must stop when... More

Given the choice, Pappy's has better ribs, but these are very good. In addition, they have great barbecued turkey. It is a smaller place and doesn't have much ambiance, but it is clean.

Full disclosure - I haven't eaten barbeque at EVERY place in St. Louis, but I've eaten at least 5 places including Pappy's, Salt n' Smoke, Vernon's and Sugarfire - on top of Bogart's. It's not just that the ribs are amazing, super tender, meaty, loads of flavor without even adding the sauce. The side dishes also are terrific. The beans... More

A friend and I came here for lunch. We both had the ribs and we had bbq beans, potato salad and chips for the sides. The ribs were good, my friend said his was excellent. The place only sits about 40 people inside. It busy and it was 2pm, so I can only imagine how crowded it is at 11.... More
