Delicious ribs with yummy sauce served on the side. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and had great bark on the outside. That is all we tried today, but will return for more!

Bogart's has great ribs, I would put them a slight mark under Pappy's ribs. I do think Bogart's sides are better than Pappy's though. You honestly will get Great ribs at both places.

Beautiful day yesterday at the market. Everyone recommended Bogart's so off we went. Found easily enough. Because of covid they are taking orders at the door and bringing a box out to sidewalk picnic tables, which is all fine. I never mind sitting outside when...it's gorgeous weather like this weekend. But, when we walked up the lady at the door was, well, unfriendly would be putting it nicely. I ordered the brisket sandwich- $13. You get two sides but I only wanted one. She wouldn't accept that for some reason and snapped I should just get two chips. So I ordered two chips. Kind of stupid but ok. Can't I just get the sandwich? No. Husband ordered wings. She snapped at him too. Whatever. Love spending $35 on a sandwich and wings only to be rudely snapped at several times. Food ok but cold. The brisket itself was really tender and delicious but the sweet bread overwhelmed it. The wings were HUGE and the moderately warm sauce was pretty good. Mild sauce was not that great. We drank pepsi and water- the only beer you can get is budweiser. Drinks are pepsi only or water. And maybe all of this is covid related. Not sure. We weren't going to get answers or have a conversation with this girl. She wanted us to go away. I might have liked it better but honestly my first impression was ruined by the rudeness. Sorry Bogart's could have been/should have been better.More

On a staycation and going to the local BBQ places leaving Bogart’s to the last day. The Brisket just didn’t have the flavor or cut anymore. It was thin and in water in a plastic cup. Smokie Mo’s and Shorties still have a thick juicy...cut on sandwiches and platters.More

Got there at 1045 on a Saturday and were already like the 5th group served. Sweet sauce was awesome on the ribs. Some of the best ribs we had on a "Rib tour" of MEM, STL and KC.

Got the full rack of ribs. Amazing flavor and perfectly done. Baked beans spicy and very good. Cole slaw good but not great.

We spent one day in St. Louis, and wanted to have barbecue before we left. We chose this restaurant because it was near the Budweiser Brewery and had good reviews. I was expecting amazing and got ordinary.

"I like Bogart's better." - My STL friend I'm going to disagree with him while Bogart's is good I don't know if it's the best. We went in the early evening and fortunately because the weather wasn't the best there was no one there. They...were out of the pastrami and beef ribs but that was fine because neither appealed to me. I got the brisket and pulled pork as part of the 2 meat plate with the 'deviled egg' potato salad and the fire and ice pickles. The pulled pork was ok, definitely a little dry and in need of sauce. The vinegar sauce had a little bit of tangy kick, but their other sauces: Pineapple express, Sweet Megan Ann's were ok. The Voodoo sauce was good though. Of the sides, the pickles were the best, a little sweetness with more tart/sharpness really helped balance out the richness of the brisket. I didn't think much of the potato salad, it tasted like something out of a tub.More

Connected by extended family with Pappys. Certainly could use customer service skill development...try greeting or at least a grimace instead of a frown. I came for dinner around 5, it was mostly empty. Decent bbq and sides with an array of sauces to add on...the meat. Above average but horrible counter staff-attitude. Should give it 3 instead of 4 stars. Least favorite on my bbq tour.More

I was craving ribs and this place did not disappoint! Pappy’s was on holiday and I heard this place was just as good. There was no line at 2:30PM and they weren’t sold out of anything. We were the last people to have ribs. The...next people that came had to wait 20 minutes. My husband and I ordered a rib platter with burnt ends, brisket, and sides. We also ordered wings with sides. The ribs and the burnt ends were the best items we had. The burnt ends were crispy and moist. The ribs had so much flavor and I love that they weren’t slathered in sauce. Pineapple Express and the vinegar sauce were my favorite. The brisket was bland and the wings were plump and juicy. I wish the wings were dry rubbed as well. The sauce was one note, nothing amazing. The sides were okay. The fire and ice pickles had an interesting flavor and I couldn’t stop eating them! The slaw was ok and the BBQ pork skins were pork rinds. I liked having the bag of them, but they were dry and not very flavorful. I would definitely come back for the ribs!More

I checked Google Maps, it's 2 miles. Easy ride-share or taxi to get there. Walkable, but you have to be pretty enthusiastic to walk there from downtown.
