Hopefully my mistake was doing takeout, but with kids I thought it was worth it to save the time. I thought the brisket was too fatty and lacked a good smoked flavor. The bun was dry and took away even more from the sandwich. I didn’t like the beans or the cole slaw. Next time I am in St. Louis... More

Bogart's is located just a mile south of Busch Stadium so if you are in town for a game and want to try some famous St. Louis BBQ this is a good place to start. Their baked beans are the best I've ever had but I like em hot and they do come with a little heat.

This place is awesome. The bbq is on point and some of the best pulled pork I have ever had. The staff is nice. We didn't have a problem finding a table but it was a Monday evening. It is pretty tiny so I am sure space gets to be an issue at busy times.

When I first read the reviews for this place I was pretty excited to visit this place. I'm a big fan of BBQ and this place sounded like "The Place". When we arrived, I waited in line for about 25minutes so I thought it must be good. The place is smaller than it looks and inside it felt like a... More

Took the Eat St. Louis Soulard tour Sunday, and our guide, Chris, along with several locals on the tour recommended Bogarts(not open on Sunday's). So after a morning of sightseeing, I stopped by for a late lunch. It definitely lives up to the recommendations. The brisk it was well flavored and fork-tender. I tried all four sauces, all good, with... More

Thank you Nikki and staff for the hospitality. The ribs. We're my favorite thing but the burnt ends, coleslaw and baked beans were also very good.

Excellent food - we had the burnt ends platter with baked beans and deviled egg potato salad and pulled pork platter with coleslaw and fire and ice pickles. Seating is sketchy as you are supposed to order first and then sit but as usual some people follow the rules and some don't. Staff attempt to remind guests to do this... More

We had the brisket, pulled pork and several sides and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Get there early for the best selection as they do run out towards closing time. Polite staff and great food!

Family visit of four. Had ribs, pastrami and tri-tip. All of the meats were very good. I'd put them with the top BBQ places I've been (Dreamland - B'ham, Stanley's - Tyler, Kreuz - Lockhart, etc.) - FOR THE MEATS ONLY. The sides were OK, just not enough to make them "Excellent".

The pulled pork was amazing! I love the Pineapple Express and Sweet Maegan Ann BBQ sauce were delicious! The baked beans were the best we ever had, but the coleslaw was very bland. Worth the visit!!

Thank Angela U
