I think Mexican food varies so much in the US, it's hard to find one you really love when traveling. This restaurant tried to be an upscale Mexican restaurant and served the food with an emphasis on presentation and the price to match. Our service was great, but we hardly ate any of our dinner.

My wife and I accidentally found this restaurant while waiting for our car to be repaired nearby, We ate outside - cool atmosphere -service was very good. Chips were a little greasy, and we didn't care for the taste of the margarita, but otherwise the meal was great. We would definitely eat here again if in the area.

We really enjoyed having a Happy Hour dinner at Rosalita's. This was our first dining experience since the end of March (due to the pandemic) and we wanted to make it a good one. The food portions were plenty, the drinks were great, and the server's adherence to the new serving requirements were spot on. It was a great way to kick off post-pandemic dining!
The quesadillas and flautas were well beyond appetizer-sized. We had more than enough food!

First of all…I am not a “Karen”… I am very patient in general and most of the time I leave positive reviews. And second…I have been to other Rosalita’s locations and been pleased. But today was awful at the Washington Ave location. The slow and forgetful service I would have written off as the server having a bad day or a very busy crowd before a nearby concerts. But then we experienced the unacceptable. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food the server brought out 7 of the 8 entrees ordered and then proceeded to tell my diabetic, pregnant god-daughter (and I quote) “You need to pick something else, they tell me the tamales are bad” started walking away. Are you flipping kidding me?!? The manager said he would “take care of us” on the tickets but when the tickets came to us they were full charge of everything…even the greasy cold cheese quesadilla that was supposed to be the replacement for the bad tamales. Just downright unacceptable!

We stopped in Rosalitas for a Saturday lunch. Rokhaaya was our waitress. She was the best waitress we have had in a long time. She recommended the Pollo Cancun and it was the best Mexican dish I’ve ever had. Excellent rice and beans. Definitely going back next time we’re in St Louis!

Hello, some of the front desk staff at a neighboring hotel came to visit your establishment for an employee outing. What a wonderful time. Your two bartenders that were working this afternoon Taylor, and Isabella took care of us. Service was fast and they were so friendly. As my hotel is right Down the street I will be sure to recommend your restaurant to all of my guests who stay with me. Thank you for such a fun afternoon.

The food was good to very good. My husband had a burrito which he said was very good. I had the enchiladas which was good, but I thought the sauce was a little too sweet. The portions were very generous. Service was very good. We were there on a Wednesday night, and the restaurant wasn’t very crowded. Our server was very personable.
The restaurant was very dark and we couldn’t read the menu. We had to turn on the flashlights on our phones to read the menu. Additionally, a late night gratuity of 18% was automatically added to our bill. We never heard of a late night gratuity. We were probably there around 8 pm. Is that considered late night?

We happen to be lodging right down the street and we’re there for only one evening. We liked the atmosphere and the food was delicious. When the waitress found out it was one of the party’s birthdays, she didn’t make a big deal of it and offered us free dessert. The fried cheesecake was to die for.

This is, BY FAR, one of the MOST expensive Mexican food restaurant restaurants I have ever been to, and the food is nothing spectucular. Yes, its' good, but it doesn't scream $60+ for two people! Come on, man! That's absolutely ridiculous. Never goin' back again! I've learned my lesson, and so has my wallet! This was nothing close to fine dining, but they charge you like it is! How stupid and naive do they think the public is?

I could eat rice and beans for every meal, just not t h e s e rice and beans. The service, although friendly, is immensely slow. Many of our drinks and food came out at separate times, often far apart. One of our party got their drink 20 minutes after everyone else. The food is delicious, but overall there needs to be an update in atmosphere.

The service was good, and the beer cold; but the food was meh. Not bad but not great. My side order of tortillas was cold, but my daughter loved her tacos Al Pastor. I had the dish called the “Matador” came piping hot, but the rice and beans were cold as well. With a little adjustments this restaurant could be great.

We were there last weekend at food was not good. My wife went for the Enchiladas and in the chicken inside the tortilla there were some stickers, so food was contaminated with other stuff. Guacamole was more onion than avocado, the margaritas doesn't have any alcohol or taste. The carpet looks dirty

My family and I had been walking around, looking for a place to eat in St Louis. We saw Rosalita’s and decided to give it a try. It was not a mistake. The chips and salsa were good, and we also had stuffed nachos and quesadillas, which were great! The waiter accidentally gave my mom the wrong drink, but it was a small mistake, and she ended up just keeping the drink he gave her and she liked it. We also sat in these cool elevated booths instead of your usual table and chairs. Really neat place!!

I stopped at Rosalita's for lunch after a tour of the city. The service was good, the food was delicious, and they're doing a good job with social distancing and cleanliness. The space is a refurbished old building with great decor, and they have tables on two levels as well as outdoor seating. I've heard the margaritas are wonderful, but didn't have time for one at lunch.

Back where I come from on the East Coast there is a Mexican restaurant on every corner. My wife had rather eat Mex than anything. Rosalita's was referred by our hotel and they did not disappoint. We both had soft tacos, burritos, rice and beans. It was GREAT.
