Came in for a light meal since we had a club reservation across town in 2 hours. I was amazed at the professional service and quality of the food .. and they didn't make us feel unappreciated. My friend had a vegetarian pasta that tasted wonderful!! I had a veal dinner that was lightly breaded and not greasy. Class act... More

We had a business dinner with international friends and we were completely embarrassed by the waitress and owner's attitudes when confronted with a hair in our entree.

I love this restaurant. The food is very reasonably priced and I have never had a bad meal here. The pizza is amazing. The pasta is divine. The staff is so friendly. And they know their regulars by name. It is easy walking distance from Busch Stadium. You will be glad you came.

We were in the city on Tuesday night and weren't sure if we would need a reservation - we did not. There was literally one other person in the restaurant. Which I don't understand, because the food (we ordered pasta) was really good, and the bartender/waiter was really friendly. We enjoyed our meal and at a good price. Would definitely... More

I visited Gio's with a large group on a Saturday night. With drinks, it was approximately $30 per person. The place was pretty empty. Regardless, they were understaffed. The waiters made an attempt, and were very friendly, but just overwhelmed. Menus arrived late and were never taken away No bread brought to the table. Our first waiter was clearly confused.... More

A casual eatery in a great location, Gio's has friendly, efficient service and decent but not special food. The salads and pizza were definitely the best part of our meal. Our fish was overcooked and the pasta was just ok.

We were looking for a reasonably priced restaurant that could accommodate eight on short notice. Gio's was a couple of blocks from our hotel and able to take us on short notice. We were all pressed with the speed of service and the great food. The staff were very friendly and happy to do whatever they could for us to... More
