There were 50 folks in my first visit to the Fountain on Locust. It was such a charming and welcoming atmosphere. The service was so good, from helping us decide what to order to completion and delivery of the food to our goodbyes as we left. They were truly happy to take care of our group. Food is outstanding and... More

Gourmet quick eats and the best sweet treats. I recommend ordering your ice cream first and your meal last!

Such a fun restaurant with a mid-century vibe! Neat history to the space. Every thing I've ate and drank has been pretty good.

Well located for the Grand Arts District. Very good deserts and good period detail on the decor. Non desert menu items also good. Portions are on the smaller ( by my standards ) My wife and her friends often go there before going to plays at the nearby Fix theater.

Always a good choice for a casual, yet nice, meal. Before the theater (near the Fox), symphony (near Powell Hall) or the ballpark (ten minutes away). Unique soups, salads, sandwiches, and amazing ice cream creations. And plan a trip to the restrooms. Most photographed in St. Louis!

I had a roast beef and salad that I split with my husband. It was good. The best part was the ice cream. I had just a small cone of Black Cherry, it is a very creamy ice cream, and delicious! It is not a large place so get there early. The decor is sort of art deco but at... More

I've never been disappointed at The Fountain. Diner atmosphere with fun and tasty menu items. Great for a bite to eat before and after the Fox or Symphony. Full bar too!

We've eaten at The Fountain several times and find it fun and enjoyable. It's a combination of an old time soda fountain, and restaurant in an Art Deco building. The restaurant. Exceptional food and service, beer, wine and cocktails and "adult desserts." Highly recommend the pesto chicken sandwich and the cuban. A nice feature of the menu is that you... More

Everything we had was excellent. I don't like coleslaw but loved theirs. The sandwiches were good. The ice cream is made from milk and cream and was delicious!

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at The Fountain on Locust a week or so ago and quite enjoyed the experience. The food was very good and the young waitress did a great job in providing service to us. My wife had the flatbread special, which was very tasty and sufficiently filling. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a... More
