This is a great place to bring friends, or whatever excuse you need to eat out. Love the guac, the pomegranate ginger margarita, and the gambas is fabulous. Wonderful mole. The vibe is casual, and the price is very affordable for a world class meal....More

From the moment I walked in I was taken care of. Our sever, Isaac, was very knowledgeable of the menu and how to pair and time the meal. The spicy margarita was a real treat. Ask for recommendations and enjoy the experience

Sensational Mexican food. Slight twists on traditional Mexican dishes. Shrimp ceviche was fantastic. Grilled octopus was one of my favorite dishes in recent memory. Cocktails also excellent-- try the one with mole bitters. Churros for dessert are a must. Love the colorful decor.

This is not any kind of Latin food I’ve ever eaten. Forget Mexican food as you know it. I could see and taste the influences but the combination of ingredients was so different it leaned on the strange side, however, interesting also. I just can’t...More

We’ve been wanting to give Nixta a try for awhile now, and we will definitely be going back. The atmosphere was more casual than I was expecting, but it was pleasant. The food was incredible and with flavors I’ve never had before. Like most tapas...More

My husband and I went to Nixta last year and had an outstanding, yet pricey, meal. Came back for a second visit and found some of our favorites (black bean hummus) was already scratched from the menu. This visit the pumpkin seed hummus was recommended...More

We visited Nixta on a Saturday evening, I found the restaurant when researching some of the best restaurants in STL... I wasn't disappointed. I've seen a couple of other reviews which irk me a bit, so I'll start with a quick overview... Being European, the...More
