There was most definite a line, but the staff was great in keeping everyone moving. My family had the ribs and pulled pork. It was amazing! Oh and I highly recommend the green beans as a side. We are thinking about coming back tomorrow for the burnt ends.

We've heard this is the place for BBQ, especially in St Louis. The pulled pork was amazing, the sweet potatoes fries I would eat every night & the fried corn on the cob is a must. The only issue was the ribs were a bit dry, so that was disappointing. I'd absolutely get this again with pulled pork, fries &... More

Walked to Pappy's between baseball games at St Louis University. This is a busy place. Got there a little before 11am and they already had a line, but it moves fast. The food was wonderful and large portions. I had the pick 2 meats (burnt ends and brisket). Both were great. For the sides, I had sweet potato fries and... More

The ribs are some of the best I have ever had. They rank right up there with Joe's BBQ in Kansas City. The bbq beans are great as well. My daughter had the pulled pork, it wasn't bad but the ribs are so much better. Thankfully there wasn't too long of a line when we were there. They do a... More

Typical American BBQ. Amazing pork ribs, delicious side dishes. High spirited ambient. Bring your family and friends. Must try.

Excellent BBQ! We got to the restaurant around 7:00 pm on a Monday night. They were sold out of brisket, chicken and sausage. All that was left was pulled pork, turkey and ribs. We waited about 15 minutes in line to order. Food was awesome...pork was moist and ribs fell off the bone. They were sold out of everything by... More

I when I meet some one who is visiting St. Louis for the first time, and the inevitable question of where they should eat comes up, I always recommend that they try Pappy's. STL is a food town, but is even more a BBQ town. The ribs at Pappy's are #1 every time!

The first visit was so remarkable I had to go back to see. I will say the wait in line for an hour is not a thrill and the fact that they only have one cash register is frustrating. Once you order however......BAM....you get seated and your food is delivered and your in foodies heaven. A half slab of ribs... More

I come here every time I am in St. Louis. They have a very good system in place so the line really does go fast. They give you a menu so you know what you will have prior to ordering. The barbecue is out of this world. Love this food! A must to go!

Stopped in to Pappy's Smokehouse while in St Louis. It was the best ribs and brisket I've ever eaten. Making it even better was the 4 different sauces on the table. Not too bad for the the place that the food network voted as the best ribs in America.

Thank David R
