Great 50s and 60s feel when you want ice cream. A one of a kind local ice cream shop. Cones, shakes, malts and yoghurt are all on the menu. Drive through or drive up and order... Yum yum.

I found Kris & Kates online as a very unique place to visit. I was passing through and brought the family to see the cool building. It is cool. The tiny pink roadside shack is shaped like an ice cream cone. All of the ordering and seating are outdoors. The building is covered with 1950 era decor while 50's b-bop... More

I am a sucker for unique venues. You don't get very more unique than ordering ice cream from an oversized soft serve ice cream cone looking building off of St. Joes belt highway.. I enjoyed the ice cream while listening to the 50s music play in the background. My only complaint was the price, seemed a little high for what... More

Stopped by one late, hot, summer night for an ice cream treat. They have a very large, creative menu for ice cream treats and combinations. This is the must-stop location for ice cream in St Joseph or when you're traveling along I-25. It put me in such a good mood that I secretly bought the ice-cream for the person behind... More

This is very good ice cream. The service is friendly and fast. A lot of different items to chose from..I don't have any favorites yet as there just to many to try at one time but anything chocolate is great.

We were in the mood for ice cream and decided to eat here instead of Dairy Queen. We are so glad we did! Fantastic service, fantastic ice cream, and the 50s music and decor was the coolest! Also, the menu is quite large! We had ice cream, but next time we'll try a chili cheese dog! It all looked good!... More

This is the best ice cream in town! The service is fast and very friendly. The prices are fair. They have a drive thru if you are in a hurry and a play area for the family if you aren't. The Twister with Cherry Mash is a local favorite as they are made right here in St. Joe. During the... More

Ordered and paid for over $20.00 in ice cream; got home and order was incorrect. I called in to speak to a manager and was told to call back in 2 minutes because they had to serve a car. When I refused that, and stated again that I wanted to speak to a manager about my incorrect order given, the... More

We were told about this St Joseph Treasure by our waiter while dining in Kansas City. We mentioned we were in town to visit family in St Joseph, Mo. When it came time to offer us dessert he actually suggested we check this place out. I LOVE this waiter! This place is an amazing treat. Don't be put off by... More

We were visiting our daughter who attends MWSU and stopped at Kris and Kate's for an evening treat. We all ordered something a little different from Sundaes to waffle cones to twisters. The Chocolate Covered Strawberry sundae was delecious with just the right amount of chocolate and strawberries. My son ordered Mint Ice Cream and they made it for him... More
