We really enjoyed lunches at Trailhead Brewery. Went there Oct 14 - it's now Schafly's Bankside. Don't know about their lunches - NO ONE WOULD WAIT ON US. Didn't even see a server. We gave up and walked out. It's a shame.

I did not like the food nor the staff. They where absent and short. The bathrooms where filthy. The food was poor and too big. The tables where sticky and there where fly's.

We were a group of two couples for lunch. If your not in a hurry it will be fine. The food was good and the in house craft beer was a nice addition. We were not in a hurry and still thought it took a...long time to get through lunch. It was mostly a typical lunch it just took a while on the back end to get some final drinks and cash out. I would go again and just be ready for the long meal.More

We were promptly greeted and seated in the upstairs dining room. Very dirty carpeting and old rickety chairs. We used to LOVE the smoked prime rib and housemade root be er. They no longer have the smoked prime rib or housemade root beer. We ordered...chicken tenders and the Caribbean jerk burger with fries. Burger was bland with no Caribbean jerk seasonings. The chicken tenders and fries were obviously frozen. This place has gone downhill. Choose another place, quick!More

French Onion soup was great, all the food we tried was great. Only complaint is service is so slow, so very slow. We eat here every year when we visit the St Charles Christmas traditions celebration. Building is beautiful, great location. My only complaint is...food service is always slow. I kind of feel like the restaurant is short staffed or they assign too many tables to one waiter or waitress. My pet peeve is when a table who is seated after we are is waited on before us. It happens every time. So frustrating.More

Long wait for food that wasn't that great. Fish was rubbery. Flavor was missing in several dishes. French fries were good.

Food was excellent & drinks were great. We loved the atmosphere & ambience at Trailhead. However, the bathrooms smelled worse than any portapotty I’ve ever been in & there was an overall sewage stench in most of the restaurant. We didn’t notice it at first,...but after walking around the restaurant & moving to the upstairs bar it hit us big time.More

Well it is a shame that it smelled so bad downstairs, because the food tasted great. The smell was coming from the bathrooms, and I thought I was the only one that noticed, but no. Waitress did get my order wrong. Food tasted great anyway....Recommend you eat upstairs and all should be fine.More

Sat— seating in a south. Second floor room- windows facing the Observatory. Watched the end of one wedding and the beginning of the next. Fun entertainment. Burgers only average, however fantastic fries!

Dined there 11-8-19. The lowered level reeked of a sewer smell. The bathrooms (especially the women's) were filthy and they smelled even worse. We've been here many times and never experienced this. Should have left but were there with a group. Very disappointing.

Trailhead has parking problems. Try the O'fallon brewery in Maryland Heights. It has much more available Parking. They go to Six Mile Bridge, for a night cap!

It is wonderful place to meet with friends. We have sat way up high, down on the lower level as well. I did not like being up high as I thought the stairs were too much to climb and I'm only in my 50s. I agree with... More
