What a surprise! This place is fantastic! My husband and I are "foodies" and this place knocked our socks off. After lunch, we made reservations for supper. It was that good. Open kitchen concept with unique atmosphere. Order dessert!
Glad we stopped here. We were looking for a light lunch on our way back to Kansas, and Abigails was on my list. We shared a Ham and Cheese, with Dijon and thinly sliced apple. Accompanied with some excellent tortilla chips and fresh corn salsa....Perfect! Wish we’d had room for dessert. Looked yummy and we noticed that people were coming in just for that. The decor is very eclectic and rustic. It was nice to see an old building restored, but not redone. Will be back!!More
We did not expect to find this quality in such a small local restaurant. Chef TJ & server , Jesse , thank you. The lobster cake appetizer to the swordfish served with potatoes & asparagus were exceptional. There were a dozen dessert selections & we...ordered the last (generous) serving of housemade tiramisu. The wine selection did not disappoint!
We will definitely return! We enjoyed the short walk from our B& B( The Old School house) & then an after dinner stroll around town & the Katy Trail.More
You must experience this little piece of heaven. Reservation a must. We had lobster, shrimp, scallops ravioli, jalapeño pork chop and tilapia w Chile sauce. All wonderful. Super food snobs and this did not disappoint. Good wine selection. Ask for gooey butter cake when ordering first thing...or it will be gone. We took nut toffee pie, chocolate peanut butter pie & carrot cake to go and they were all delicious. Glad this place is right off of the trail. Having bike and burned some calories was needed. Sorry grandma, Abigails has got you beat Entrees ranged from $17 to $30 for beef sirloin. Great price for the complexity of flavors you experience. Soups $5.75, salad $4.75-was house with mandarin oranges, craisins, spinach +greens with strawberry viniagrette dressing. Bread was fresh and delicious as well. Deserts $6.50/eaMore
Abigail's has been a favorite of mine for many years. If I am riding the Katy Trail or traveling on I-70, the food and atmosphere have always been fantastic. The personal attention that goes into the tomato soup, or the fresh garden salad, or the...entrees is above the vast majority of restaurants I have ever been to, even the most expensive restaurants. Additionally, I have told friends and clients about Abigail's and their feedback is the same as mine, a fabulous place! Can't wait to go back! Five Stars!More
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent, everytime we visit Abigails all our dreams are exceeded. Jess our Hostess/Waitress was magnificent, she explained every dish and met our every need. Our group of four was very happy with the service and our food exceptional. Must make reservation as there...are only 6-7 tables, menu changes every day, with many great choices. Little hidden gem, I highly recommend this restaurant (03/05/2020).More
My daughter and I had lunch at Abigails today. She had the quesadilla and I had a pretzel roll turkey sandwich. The menu is on a chalkboard that is placed at the table and was created for today’s meal. The food was prepared fresh and...was delicious. The high lite of the meal was Italian cream cake which is very rich and tasty. There wasn’t a lot going on at The Katy Trail or in town so it was a pleasure that they were open.More
