The local restaurant in Trzin near Ljubljana. Very good balkan food, normal prices. We go there often. It is not crowded (I belive it is not widly known) and you have peace at the table.
Rather dated but it is OK.
Very kind stuff.

We traveled past Ljubliana but could not leave a packed car in the city. I knew this place from a business lunch some time ago.
The language made things a biy hard but we managed to order (and got) what we wanted. The meatloaf rolls with cheese. No one had them before and all loved it.
Service was friendly, helpful. The card in Slovenian only, more of a challenge. Pricing is good. You just have to know they exist, you don't just drive by. Leftovers were packed for us !.
When we have a chance we will drop by again.

This is a hidden gem for anyone outside Trzin or Mengeš area. Great food, Balkan grill, very friendly staff and superb quiet location hidden among houses just on the edge of woods, that provide fresh, shady garden to sit out. We had čevapi, vešalica and some prebranac beans, that were superb. The prices and quality of food is beyond expectations.

This is old fashioned restaurant with Balkan cuisine. Food is very good. Athmosphere nice, although decoration is poor and there is only 1 room. But staff is kind and you feel very welcome. Like you are back in 60th.

Inside old style, like nothing changed last 20 years. Serbian type of restaurant, suitable more for quick lunch then fancy dinner.
Salad acceptable, cabbage salate too salty, grilled paprika without taste. Mixed meat plate, not really good quality.
