Such a fun experience watching out the window at the happiness of swimmers playing in Little Sugar Creek. Relaxed atmosphere with good service and tasty foods. Homemade fries over the top—prime rib sandwich special tender and yummy.
Small menu but amazing food. We had burgers with excellent home made fries. But the real stars were the desserts. Creme brûlée and chocolate bouchon. A perfect end to our meal. The restaurant ambiance overlooking the river falls is lovely. Dress is casual. The food...is fabulous and well made. The service was impeccable. Highly recommend a visit.More
The absolute toughest steak I have had in a restaurant. The service was mediocre and we ordered about 6 different drinks that were on the menu that they did not have. They never offered to take the steak off my ticket even though I only...ate about 4 bitesMore
Not our best experience last night. We were anxious to show our family how great this unique little restaurant is. We had reservations on prime rib night for 7:00. We had drinks and appetizers and ordered dinner. It was over an hour before our food...came out! Now this is a small restaurant with no more than 10 tables. The food was good, not great, and pretty pricey. I have always liked this little unique restaurant but last night’s experience will make me rethink decisions on eating out. BTW our waitress was great!More
I expected more from a $65 meal. My husband has been wanting to go there for awhile. We live in a neighboring town so we made the drive to celebrate his recent retirement. The food was really good and our server was polite, but she...wasn't very attentive. We had to ask for several things, some of it from other servers passing by. I asked her if they had crab cakes and she said "yes" and walked off... Did not ask if we wanted any and surprisingly we had to ask about dessert too. We would like to try again, but we may ask for a different server.More
You're not sure what to expect when you turn off the main road, as there is an interesting salvage yard to your right. However, the further you drive up the road, passing the quaint American flags, you step into a sweet environment which actually reminded...me of a Manhattan bistro in that it's so unique and cool. Oakley greeted us with a warm welcome and Tajada (excuse my spelling of both if incorrect) was our front server. I ordered the twice-baked potato and two vegetable sides. Honestly, the presentation was too adorable - have to say it. It brought back memories of the movie Mystic Pizza (and the cafe in Connecticut) in its charm and simple, delicious food. Great representation of the city of Pineville and the state of Missouri.More
What I liked best about this place was the service and location. The staff was so friendly and the food came out in a decent amount of time. The food and cocktails were very good but nothing unique or amazing. I was there for the...experience with family. The location is so charming though and I would definitely return!More
We had a good time at this establishment. Went with another couple that we enjoy dining out with. Some of us had a really good food experience while others were just so-so. Its a hit and miss for us, so I'm not sure if we...will try again.More
We have been coming to Haven 55 starting right after we moved to Bella Vista Ar after seeing an article about it in a local newspaper and had always had a great meal and great views. On last Saturday night we called and made reservations...for 5:30 for an early dinner to celebrate my birthday and we enjoyed another delicious meal. This time each of us got one of their chicken dishes and I hasd their fantastic french fries as a side. Both meals were wonderful as was the bottle of Nobilo white wine. Service was attentive without being overly so. If you haven't been there yet and live here or are visiting try it. But be sure to make reservations.More
Had lunch today at Haven 55 after reading a lot hype in the Fayetteville AR newspaper. The scenery overlooking the falls and river was very nice. The short roadway to the restaurant is one big junk pile, so was surprised at that. The food was...good, but nothing to warrant the one hour drive. The menu was limited and for a place less that half full, the service was nothing special, although the server was very nice. The major distraction was the terrible parking!! The lot is small and gravel. There was parking across the street off the roadway. However, there was NO handicap parking spaces. I suppose the parking lot was below the minimum to require one, but how disrespectful to run a business and disregard for such an important feature. I have a "one-strike, you're out" rule on restaurants and thus, this one flunked the test. Disregard for handicap customers into these days in must negligent and tells me they don't care.More
This a gem hidden in the middle of literally nowhere. My husband and I were out for a Saturday drive and found this place totally by accident. Angela was our server and did an excellent job of directing us through our dining options. Lunch has...a limited menu but the available options are expertly prepared and served. The Creme Brulee we shared after our meal was the perfect ending to an exceptional meal. A little out of the way but we will definitely be coming back again.More
My friend who lives nearby chose Haven 55 for an early dinner. I am grateful. The food is world class, the falls were boiling and our server excellent. I certainly didn't expect this in such an out of the way place. Well done. You deserve...5 stars.More
