Oh no! This place was on the up-&-up but they have lost the brew master, the chef, all the good bartenders, and it shows. Was hoping this place would be my new "spot", just down the road from my house, cool ambiance. Gave them a...few more tries after I heard of the personnel changes, alas it was not worth it. Burger- gross, fish and chips- inedible, beer cheese- water thin, mac n cheese- child portion. What happened? Also, the owner should stick to getting hammered at the bar and stay out from behind the bar. I should not have to ask for more beer and less foam.More

We visited Calibration Brewery for dinner and drinks this evening. What a glorious night to be out on the patio! My husband ordered the beer/cider flight and I tried the seasonal offering of the Oktoberfest coffee stout. They were all delicious! We both loved the...I Never Knew You Raspberry Cider and the Strange Boy Cider. I had the chicken wings with spicy asian sauce, they were meaty and delicious! The hubby had the pulled pork nachos and said they were good but would have liked the cheese sauce a little thicker. He'd still order them again. I also had the sweet potato fries which were fantastic. Our server was friendly and took great care of us. We finished our visit by playing some corn hole. Alas, I lost 3 games before giving up!More

This is one of my fav breweries in the Armour/Burlington area (though the hand-food at the Colony is now dynamite last time I was there), so it's often the place we eat when hitting a couple spots. The food had been good couple times before,...though this time, it wasn't. The bartender mentioned they had a new chef. Either that needs some adjustment or the chef to cook communication, since we ended up with a black-bean burger that was honestly like black-beans from a mexican restaurant held together just a bit better (did the chef used to work at Rock & Run in Liberty, since man we had a sammy like that there about a year/two ago). I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which was really tasty, though I would've expected it to come with a side of fries for the price, or chips or something. If not, then maybe serve it on a smaller plate so it doesn't look so lonely. We'll be back again likely; though I'm hoping this last food visit was an aberration.More

Stopped here for lunch with our kids on an early Saturday afternoon. The outdoor patio is pretty with comfortable seating and nice lights and games. The bathrooms were very clean and our server was friendly and helpful. My kids enjoyed playing ping pong on the...table inside. I felt the food menu was a bit limited but that is just my personal opinion based on my tastes. I would recommend!More

The beer was good. I like the uniqueness of the names. The food was sub par and the courtesy of the staff was terrible. When he heard we brought our own games he turned the lights down.

Nice selection of ales, a few IPA’s, 2 ciders. Open seating, nice mood, friendly staff. Close by to 3 other brewpubs within 1/2 mile.

My glass was dirty which is so gross, waiter did get me a new glass but still totally gross. Chili was good, pretzels were really good, too. Gratuity was added to bill, even though we only had 7 people. Don’t remember seeing anything on menu...indicating gratuity was auto added. This always amazes me because we usually leave more except when auto-added. Bill total was not correct, either. Multiple beers seemed to have odd oak taste usually associated with wine.More

We just stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Totally surprised at the atmosphere and great service Lynn welcomed us with and the exceptional food! Beers - did a flight and with a couple recommendations from Lynn and we were not disappointed. Living in North K.C...., the Calibration will become a familiar spot of us!More

We almost didn’t go in and wish we followed our instincts. 2 tables were occupied & 1 person was at the bar. We had 2 hefeweizens that could have been colder and 1 order of pretzels. The hefeweizen is not a standard cloudy hefeweizen and...the three overpriced $8.00 pretzels were premade and had no salt. They looked like bread sticks dipped in oil. The beer cheese sauce was really runny so I didn’t even try it. We decided not to order dinner based on the appetizer. We were there over an hour and beyond ready to go. The brand new bartender was overwhelmed & the owner was in the back sleeping instead of helping her. When he finally came out to void a transaction he lost my credit card. He said it wasn’t lost because it was around there somewhere. Then he blamed it on the bartender. I called him out on being the OWNER blaming the new girl and he went off. We just wanted to go home. He followed us out of the restaurant! He called some guy out of the bar to follow us too. Any owner who charges a customer the wrong amount and loses their credit card apologizes. Here you are yelled at & followed down the street. The owner is known for being a total nightmare. Seriously. We tried to give it a chance anyway. Big mistake. I don’t know how this place is still open. KC has many great beer establishments but this isn’t one.More

Came in just after opening and had the place to ourselves. Very fun Tender at the bar and a very nice, big comfy place with nice patio area outside. Event space, keep informed about what's coming... We didn't eat this visit, but menu looks good....I had the "All Day, All Night" coconut brown and my wife had the "I Scare Myself" IPA and both were quite delicious!More

This brewery has plenty of interior seating. Both the bar and their many tables have beautiful wood countertops. There is also nice patio seating. I tried a flight of 5 beers for $12. I didn’t care for the chocolate stout but really liked the Octoberfest....My wife liked both ciders, but especially the traditional cider which was very light and drinkable. They also have a couple of wines and several hard liquors. They also have an extensive food menu but we did not order food on this visit. Our bartender was Laura and she was very friendly and attentive.More

3 different tries. They have one beer that is pretty good, the rest seemed like they were made for a profit not for love of good beer. Staff is pretty slow but friendly enough.
