This is an excellent down to earth Vietnamese. Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous and everything tastes super fresh. Extra bonus is the lovely family that runs/works here who are polite, friendly and very efficient. The food is as brilliant as takeaway as in...the restaurant (which is unfortunately often not the case) but it’s also relaxing and enjoyable to eat in. I got Noodles with spicy Lemongrass chicken. It had a sauce on the side I've never had before, very light cucumber and whatever... that was great. Fresh Cilantro, pickled carrots, cucumber and jalapenos. The chicken was good had crunchy lemon grass with it along with...the noodles and vegies all in one HUGE bowl. Service was fast and the price was way cheaper than I thought it would be. It's a must for all your taste buds.More

First time to this new location.Pho was good ,but we can get better banh mi at other Vietnamese restaurants(the meats are not made in-house as the others).We had to ask for soup spoon,napkins and chopsticks because they were out on the table.

I love Bun Mee Phan. They used to be a hole in the wall, which I also love, but they moved to their own space. The food is Oh MY GOD excellent. It's not a fancy place but a good lunch spot and they make...banh mee sandwichs and turn them into tacos or salads, it's awesome and so filling. They make me want veggies and that's not something just any place can do.More

This place is real authentic and real good. You pick the meat (Chinese bbq, pork, chicken, etc) and then how it is served (bread, donut, rice, noodle, spring roll, taco). And they come served with fresh cilantro, jalapeño, cucumber, pickled carrot daikon, lettuce, onion. The...banh mi is excellent. The French bread is crunchy and flaky on the outside while doughy soft and chewy on the inside. This place is small and the owner/ server is super friendly to explain the menu. Worth driving to this place. I tried the caramelized pork belly which was good but a bit fatty for my taste. But I’m looking forward to trying more items, since the bread and vegetables were spot on for that perfect banh mi taste.More

Never really had a decent Vietnamese sandwich until we stopped here. The owners are friendly and the food is really tasty. We tried the beef pho, bbq pork sandwich and the home made breads. Was not disappointed at all. Will definitely be back to try...out more items.More

We had an excellent lunch with a super host in a very tiny restaurant in a no name strip mall. You would not expect to find a tasty Vietnamese meal in Riverside Missouri but you would be wrong. The spicy beef pho was wonderful, with...the superior broth that defines good pho, Vietnamese breads both sweet and non sweet were tasty and light reflecting the French influence. A noodle bowl with spicy pork, peanuts, pickled veggies and sweet sour sauce awesome. The menu has an interesting twist, column one you choose your protein, column two rice, noodles or spring roll and then the accompaniments. Your host is jovial and helpful, prices fair and service swift. We will return to enjoy more of the menu!More

We came here based on the reviews. The owners were friendly, the bubble tea and spring rolls were good. Gotta say though, flies were an issue. No air conditioning and the door open in July. We thought our Vietnamese place back home was better.

The food is delicious and the owner is friendly and helpful. If you aren't in the mood for Banh Mi try their take on tacos. They are really good! Or try the pork chop special (Com Tam). Just be aware this is a very small...place with limited indoor and outdoor seating offering counter service, so there is usually a line at the busy times of day.More
