I had the pulled pork sandwich and my colleagues had the brisket sandwich. All of these were excellent and the mustard potato salad was also really good.

I've eaten here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. Good, especially the brisket. Good sides, as well.

Service was fast, food was good...a bit on the pricey side though. Atmosphere was rustic, if I had another opportunity to try something different in Monett, I would probably go somewhere else.

This was the most HORRIBLE food ever! This place might have been good three years ago but it was horrendous when we went. There was only 1 person working (the owner) and he microwaved everything we ordered (we didn’t know until we got our food home) I ordered a kids burger with cheese and it was a soybean microwaved burger with cheese that was like a rock on top because it had been microwaved.
I would not feed this food to anyone! It was almost 50 dollars for 2 adults and a child and we threw away the food because it was so bad.
I think it’s time for this place to close.

I loved it, that's all I can say, when someone asks about I say I loved it, the food was really good especially the fish and it was so good I want some more, there was this girl up front, I think she said Nashville but I'm not really sure but she was so nice and so kind to what I had to ask and she was by far the nicest person and funnest that I've ever met

Stopped in to try some local BBQ and after walking in thought the place was actually out of business. After finding our way to the order counter the teenager at the counter acted like it was an inconvenience for us to be there and couldn’t answer any questions about the menu other than “here’s some pictures”.
When we got our food and you couldn’t eat it because it was so hot after just coming out of the microwave it would burn your mouth. After it did cool down it had no taste and wasn’t worth eating.

Quick and very good barbeque meals. Order at counter and they bring meal to your table. Nice selection of meats.

I have wanted to try this restaurant for quite a while and finally managed to make it! The atmosphere is rustic and cute. The restaurant looks clean and well kept. The food however was a big disappointment. We ordered a sampler platter and a plate of BBQ nachos. The platter came with two sides and we chose to get baked potatoes and cole slaw with this meal. Let me say that the cole slaw was some of the worst tasting slaw that I have had at a restaurant. It tasted like there was some type of cleaner in it. After one bite, we both had to spit it out, the taste was that bad. On to the baked potato. You would think that you couldn't mess up a potato, but again you would be wrong. Both potatoes tasted like they had been baked the day before and then warmed up. The best that can be said about them is that they did come with plenty of butter and sour cream. The meat sampler platter had three different kinds of bbq meat. The meat is the reason for the 2 star and not 1 star review. The meat, while not the best bbq I have ever eaten, was at least cooked right and tasted okay. The bbq nachos were just this side of a joke. The cheese that was used on them looked and tasted just like the cheap kind that comes out of a can that we used to use on the nachos at the school fund raisers. Slimy and tasteless. This was poured over regular, run of the mill tortilla chips. Once again, however, the only redeeming factor in these nachos was the bbq meat that was on them. I actually LOVE bbq, but unfortunately, this restaurant just does not make the cut for having really good BBQ.

We frequently eat at Big Baldy’s in Monett. The food is great and it has a friendly, family atmosphere. I especially enjoy the blackened salad; it is large and delicious. I recommend the entire menu. Hard to beat good BBQ!

Giant fish tank the kids love and the food is gray. Eat here when you can. BBQ nachos with shredded cheese is so good!

We have been here several times but wont be back. Was not in the mood for barbeque and stpped in because its one of the few places in town that has good fries. Figured about any place can do a decent cheese burger The burger was not only horrible but it was insulting that they would charge money for this garbage. When the burger came out 4 min after ordering I knew I was in for some thing bad. These fools had the nerve to send out a precooked microwaved burger patty on a cold bun with cold cheese.
