My husband and I were going through Moberly, MO, and we were surprised to see a Long John Silver's still open since they've closed so many across the country. I have been a fan of their baked cod for a long time which is now...discontinued. So, I ordered the chicken and fish. The fish was very greasy and I couldn't eat the chicken because it was so tough. My husband on the other hand loved every bit of his meal. He ordered fish only with a side of clam strips. He didn't even eat the chicken I had because he too said it was too tough. We ordered, sat down, and the meal was served quickly. The people were friendly, but the food was not what I was expecting from a Long John Silvers. The price has gone up considerably. The place is very nice, clean, and it looks like it's been remodeled recently. I guess if you want to have greasy fish and non eatable chicken then this is the place to go.More
I am ALWAYS upset with myself, when I go to Long John Silver's, because it never changes! I used to enjoy going to this franchise when living in K.C., Mo.....but this location is such a disappointment because EVERYTHING is SO GREASY!!!
Never anybody there and now I know why. Service very slow for an empty place and the food is just bad. Not worth it
We got there on the Thursday around 5 o'clock and they work a little busy. The young lady working the register got everybody processed quickly and correctly. We were very happy with our order and how clean this fast food place was when we visited....Overall a very good visit with the food being a good price , tasting good, and looking good. I also noticed win they were not busy the young lady was stocking product and cleaning the dining area without being told buy a supervisor. Somebody at this store is doing a good job managing.More
On a trip through Moberly, we stopped at this Long John Silver's. The restaurant was clean, the wait staff uninterested (even eye rolls) and the prices were a bit high for fast food. They brought the food to the table, which was nice. The food...was very hot, which was great, but the shrimp were little. They were about half the size of the shrimp we get at our local Long John Silver's.More

I am trying to eat a little better and I love fish so I decided to try the baked cod and shrimp platter with rice and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was actually good and at least I think it was better for me...than the fried fish. I will try it more often now that I know it is edible.More
First time we went. we walked out, because we waited 10 mins and no one showed up to take our order. They are a little more pricey then ours at home.
