A super cute corner cafe withing walking distance of the Disney Hometown Museum.
The waitress staff were very attentive and sweet. Got to us immediately and were open to explaining any and all questions we might have.
It was such a perfect place with all the staples of a small home town Cafe. The menu was what you would expect.
I got the daily special of country fried chicken and it was delicious.
If you're in town to visit the Disney sights they offer you a free dessert with your ticket.
Would highly recommend.

We went to Ma Vic's for lunch while in Marceline. The food was great and the service was awesome as well. The diner is small with about 20 tables, they were full but we did not need to wait long for a seat. The food was cooked to order and hot when delivered and the price was excellent. There are Disney photos on the walls and the local that were there were easy to talk with and full of information. Parking is on the street, park so you can walk around the town. We will be back.

My tenderloin sandwich was tasty and bigger than the plate! My Partners Rueben was likewise delicious. The buffalo chips are a fried, mildly spiced thick crinkle cut chip. Dusty Miller was a nice ending - complimentary after visiting the Disney museum - ask them to tell you how it got it’s name . Great cafe !

My wife and I stopped in for lunch following our visit to the Walt Disney Hometown Museum.
Ma Vic's is a traditional cafe/diner with lots of good food and a fun atmosphere. I had a patty melt with fries that were delicious! We both had a "Dusty Miller" dessert to top it all off; something unique to Ma Vic's.
The cafe is in easy walking distance to the Disney museum and we were there on a beautiful day, so we walked. Walking on Main Street in Marceline is neat too, and Ma Vic's is right on the corner.
I highly recommend stopping in for a bite if you find yourself in town!

Perfect little small town cafe. Reasonable prices, great food and great service. Simple breakfast menu, the specialty item is a breakfast quesadilla and it was delcious. The hashbrowns are extra tasty. Oldies playing in the background. Bathroom and dining room were both clean.

A trip to Walt's hometown and museum wouldn't be complete without a visit to Ma Vic's to experience the local charm and to indulge in a "Dusty Miller". We stopped for lunch after touring the museum and first shared a turkey club; the ciabatta sandwich was filling but not overly tasty as they used processed turkey roll. Our server was engaging and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable. But we came for the Dusty Miller. We were wrong in thinking it was named after the plant, but actually after a fellow called Tom Miller, who requested this concoction one day after coming in dusty from the coal mines! The recipe is similar to a hot fudge sundae with the substitution of chocolate syrup, addition of marshmallow syrup and "dusted" on top with malted milk powder. It was good, but as passing travelers it's probably one and done for us. Stop in for the experience!

Classic diner menu - everything we tried was very good. Jumbo tenderloin, smoked pulled pork (hint: put the slaw on the sandwich), grilled ham and cheese, cheese sticks and fries. Just a few blocks from the Walt Disney museum.

Following the advice of the staff at the Walt Disney Museum, we headed to Ma Vic's Cafe for lunch. The facility was cute, the menu was surprisingly varied and the service was genuinely friendly. Our food arrived with very little wait, and everyone enjoyed their lunch.
Of course we all had the famous original "Dusty Miller" for dessert. Great!! Highly recommend Ma Vic's for an enjoyable meal.

Great visit to Marceline that started with a delicious lunch. Staff was very friendly, and the food was really good. The Main Street chili dog was great, as were the burgers. The dusty miller topped off our visit and were complementary for visiting the museum. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic staff and place. So glad we happened upon this gem!! We all ordered different potatoes and couldn’t decide which ones are best!! My kids left with full bellies and the Dusty Millers were a must try (I’m so glad our waitress realized we’d been to the museum and got them free!)
