We love to eat here- last night I had the bacon wrapped shrimp special. Excellent. I can't wait to order it again. The best part about eating at La Costa is the friendly staff. They are so welcoming!

Food and Fun - still going there

We only did carry-out for a while due to covid, but now that life is returning to normal we've had a wonderful experience going back. The staff greets us like old friends and the food is a good as every. Don't miss wonderful spot and support local people.

They are OPEN during Covid for dine in. The online site here says they aren’t. Anyways, they are open. We eat here regularly. Great, tasty food! Not bland. Excellent (thin) crispy chips and salsa. Wonderful service! We enjoy the lunch specials, and the taco Tuesday specials. Everything we’ve had here has been delicious! Located on the Liberty Square.

My wife and I ate in this restaurant many years ago (before they moved) and decided to try it because it was on DoorDash. We ordered the appetizer sampler (to share), a combo meal (for her), and a burrito (for me). The food was bland throughout. The salsa tasted like tomatoes. Virtually no spice anywhere, and no, we don't have COVID. The tamales were the most palatable option, but we won't be going back here with so many better options available.

Bland food.

Either I have Covid or the food was extremely BLAND. Chips were stale, salsa had little flavor, and my chicken enchilada had an odd, old/stale flavor. Many better options in town. Nice enough service, but food wasn't very good.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Food wasn't good. Had been under a warmer for more than an hour & we didn't receive our full order. Service was non-existent. Kept making excuses for them thinking they were short staffed. Wanted to leave a cash tip but had nothing smaller than $20. Total bill was less than $30. We were told after waiting 20 minutes that they could not make change. We left bare minimum. Will not return

Horrible will not answer phone goes straight to this phone is not taking messages I ordered a 16.99 meal was charged for that even on receipt but I got a 9.99 order instead what company will not answer the phone?

Great Mexican cuisine on the square in the old part of Liberty, Missouri. There are a few TV sets which provide the possibility of watching a game while dining.

Located in the old part of Liberty across from the municipal building this is a good choice for Mexican food. We were there for lunch. I had the #1 lunch special; deep fried taco and a cheese enchilada served with rice and beans. Good flavor for all items. My husband had a beef chimichanga. He ate all so must have been good. We each had margaritas served in a fishbowl glass. Our bill came to $30 which is about right for what we had. I would visit again if in the area.

We just got back from a long trip. I wrote reviews about a lot of places. I have never written a review about my favorite Mexican restaurant! La Costa has great tasting food and wonderful margaritas. I've watched the staff and they are friendly with everyone. Don't miss this treasure!

Good food in historic building

La Costa is located in an 1886 building on the Liberty square, so there is exposed brick and old mailboxes on the wall. The menu offers many options, and the food is good. Afterwards, the square is made up of several quaint shops to visit. Good place to visit!
