I ordered over the phone. My order was going to ready in 10 minutes. GREAT! Picked up the food and brought it home. Everything was fresh and hot. Crab Rangoon was one of the better we have had with a lot of filling. Veggies were...tender and not mushy. Soup was hot. Everything was great.More

I had Mongolian pork here for lunch yesterday. It was very good and I had plenty left for breakfast today. I'd go again if I lived closer.

The first time I tried this restaurant I was not impressed with the food, service or the restaurant in general. Some coworkers eat here so I thought I should give them another chance. Nope, same outcome but the food was worse this time. The spicy...garlic chicken had absolutely no flavor and the fried rice looked like white rice with soy sauce poured on it. I dumped three packets of soy sauce on my lunch to try and get some flavor and got nothing. The lady running the place is rude, the 12 year old taking my order looked at me like I was stupid when I couldn't understand what he was mumbling and I was treated like I should thank them for existing. No 3rd chance on this place...More

This restaurant is amazing, not only are they very friendly, their food is prepared in good taste. Their Shrimp Fried Rice dish is delicious and it contains large shrimp in lieu of the small shrimps at other restaurants. If you are in the area, please...check them out, you will not be disappointed!More

When I first moved to Lee's Summit 12 years ago. We checked out almost all the Chinese restaurants in town. This one is by far the best. Fresh food made to order. Great family owned restaurant.

This is a very small place with few employees. The four of us went in and were told to sit where we wanted. I grabbed menus off the counter. Cook yelled from the kitchen asking if we wanted soup. She quickly brought it out and...got us drinks from a nearby fridge. Orders were soon taken and the food was brought out fairly quickly. Four different dishes were ordered. Everyone liked what they got. All were freshly cooked, hot and substantial for a lunch menu. Much better than the usual Asian express food. Friendly employees. Good food and casual enough to be a family kitchen. We will go back.More

Food is fine. However, this place has some of the worse service that I've ever seen. The owner I think tries to be funny and has a dry sense of humor, but she really is just downright rude. They never offer you a greeting, hardly...ever say thanks and act like they could careless you just spent money at their establishment. I wouldnt even mind if they were a little rough but acted like they care about their repeat customers. We've visited this place many times and have let things go many times, but we're done with this place after getting such rude service every time.More

I own Slimming Solutions Med Spa and this restaurant happens to be right next door. I order from the menu without surgery sauces to stay on the healthier side of the American way of preparing Chinese food. Always hot and freshly prepared!

My husband and I had about 45 minutes for dinner last night. We almost went to a hamburger restaurant in the same strip mall as Aikou, but then changed our minds. The restaurant has about 6 booth style tables and one free-standing table. One booth...area is taken up by the children of the owners. One of the kids, a 10 year old boy, was our "host" last night. He was such a nice little boy, very friendly and easy to talk with. It is obvious his parents are very proud of him and his older sister. Our food was great. Portions were perfect, taste and temperature were right on. We both left very full and happy to have made a "new friend". I would highly recommend going to this family owned Chinese restaurant.More

I had been a regular customer of this restaurant for several years. Their Chinese food tastes authentic, not Americanized, and is really good! However, the lady who appears to be a co-owner was always short with me, rushed me the minute I walked in to...get my order, and my last few visits she had her grade school kids take my order while she was visible working several feet behind the counter. My last few visits I was hesitant to go there because of her behavior, and it came down to me choosing to get good food at a painful price of receiving bad service, or going to another Chinese restaurant and getting lousy food with good service. It's a shame I can't get both good service and good food at one place.More
