I went to college in Springfield and was introduced to the best Chinese food. Since leaving Springfield this is the only place in Kansas City that is consistently good. Better than PF Changs and half the price. Dinning in is a good lunch option. Great...combos for $8.00. Dinner is good too, but the price goes up as well as portions. My wife and I can split a dinner. The Crab rangoon is terrific. I like the hot Braised chicken. Garlic shrimp is also very good. Steamed rice and fried rice are extremely fresh. Egg drop soup is some of the best I've had. Service is good and the people are friendly. Take out orders are extremely fast under 10 minutes. And that is made to order.More

This is one of our favorite food places when traveling to Kansas City area. Service was extremely good, food hot and fresh, full of flavor. Environment was peaceful and unhurried, just what we needed. Good job!

Slow service. Mediocre, bland food. GREASY soggy egg roll! Moo chu pork dish unacceptable and not authentic. Would not recommend, nor would I return!

The restaurant is in the busy region of I-70 and I-470 among a plethora of eating and merchandising establishments. I felt like Chinese and had passed nearby many times. The waiter was most attentive, but is a reserved manner. Their lunch special consisted of a...choice of soup (I chose egg drop), choice of crab Rangoon or an egg roll (I chose the 2 crab delights) and a main course (I ordered one with shrimp and cleaned my plate). I had hot tea. I set a high standard for Chinese food and I would gladly return here. It was a nice $11 lunch.More

We live close to Master Wok so went there many times. Last few visits were disappointing. Food quality has gone down and pretty pricy for average food. The lunch specials are a good buy. Not sure if they are under new management, but we will...not be going there again, sad to see a great place to eat going down hill.More

I was craving cashew chicken so I got the lunch special. Cashew Chicken with rice, egg drop soup and an egg roll. The entire meal was great and I will return.

The atmosphere is by far the best part of this place. The food was average at best and honestly not worth what I paid. I had generals chicken which seemed to be a very small portion. Also had a full order of the beef lo...mein. Spaghetti noodles with no flavor and VERY little beef. I mean like 4 peices. Had an order of crab rangoon and I will say that 2 of the 4 pieces were good but the other two had only cream cheese in them. They were very creamy though. I liked that they have a drive thru if you call ahead which is a big plus but for the money I will only go back on tuesdays when china wok across the street is closedMore
