My grandson and I order food from this location, brought it home ate our dinner and within a couple of hours both of us got sick. I has been 24 hours and we're still sick. I wouldn't advise anyone to eat here.
Went yesterday for lunch around 3pm. No one was in the restaurant so it should of been a quick in and out. We finally got our drinks 10 minutes later then another couple sits down right after we get out drinks. Our waiter takes our...order then proceeds to take theirs right after. We got our food except for the kids hot dog which was last after our food and the other tables food. The kids hot dog comes out and my nephew LOVES hot dogs and would not even try it because of how disgusting it looked. I go to complain to manager and I am told by my waiter I can not complain over and over again. He was being super rude and yelling at me. I was not being irate I was being respectful and reasonable. I said I thought the customer was supposed to be right, then the waiter said that I asked for too many things so no I am not right. To say the least I will not go back there ever again they lost a long time customer. You never speak to a customer that was in a business. Very unprofessional and just plain rude.More
And those who know would be Mexican-heritage workers we observed in large numbers for lunch in this outer-suburban strip mall . . . one of those areas with lots of new construction where it's not easy to find a neighborhood restaurant. So when we found...ourselves in an unfamiliar area on Saturday and looking for a late-ish lunch -- and a Mexican-food restaurant would be best -- imagine our delight when TripAdvisor pointed us to La Fuente just a half-mile from where we were. And really imagine our delight when we saw many painters or dry-wallers leaving the place. So in we went.
It's a large restaurant with many booths and tables in two areas. The menu is lengthy and has lots of what you'd expect and some unusual items, too. And so we went for the unusual: shrimp enchiladas in corn tortillas, with cheese and a light red sauce, served with rice and guacamole salad. All very good: the shrimp appears to be quickly cooked, probably sauteed or perhaps grilled, but either way firm and tasty. The guacamole was tasty but not large. Oh, and the corn chips served before the meal were good and the salsa was mild but had a flavor that improved, or so it seemed, the more one ate.
The waiter was prompt and pleasant and present just the right amount, which means NOT bugging you too much.
Only knock is that the place wasn't the cleanest joint in the world, but then it was at the tail-end of the lunch period and perhaps they'd been very busy. They were fairly busy still at 1:30 or so when we were there.More
We have been here several times. The food is good. We have never been disappointed and we have been going for almost ten years. They have changed the decor inside and the chips and salsa tasted better this visit. The margaritas are great but a...little sweet. The tostadas are great. I will continue to visit.More
