Had dinner here tonight. Food was great and offered large portions. The only complaint was it was hotter than blazes - they need to correct the air conditioning issue or regulars mah decide to go when it is cooler.

My family goes here for the FRESHEST SUSHI EVER. Granted, I have not eaten in the Hibachi section, but it smells divine. The sushi is a 20 on a 1-10 scale. I have tried several rolls, but my alltime fav is the Cliff Roll. Melts in your mouth. Wonderful service. The decor is lacking, a bit, but close your eyes... More
hibachi grill style seating, awesome cooks, large servings, great prices, sadly on this day they were very busy and short on wait staff, other than that you will be very pleased.
We ate in the sushi area because that's what our daughter likes. We ordered sushi and the hibachi steak and chicken. Service was mediocre at best. We got service for 2 but there were 3 in our party. We had to ask for an extra water and silverware. The steak and chicken dinner was served with just steak, no chicken.... More
My family was looking for a nearby hibachi grill to visit for dinner. This restaurant is in a strip mall and we've passed it many times. We ordered the dinner for two which included chicken, steak and shrimp. It was delicious. Servers were very attentive. As others have mentioned the decor isn't great but that didn't bother us at all.
The sushi was good (not awesome), but tasty and reasonably fresh for Lee's Summit. The restaurant is just about the strangest setup I've ever witnessed. When you enter Mr. Sushi you see a series of Hibachi tables in the open ahead. To your left is the sushi bar (where I prefer to go). There is very little decor and no... More

The imitation crab was not flavorful at all. The crab Rangoon appetizer was awful, hardly any filling and the wontons were not well-formed. Probably... More
Mr. Sushi will forever be one of my favorite sushi restaurants. The sushi bar is very large and the atmosphere is friendly. The food is always top notch. They have a vast menu as well, if you haven't been you simply must try it out.
Something to know about Mr. Sushi is that when you walk in, you can either speak to the hostess to be seated on the hibachi side or you can walk straight over to the left where the sushi bar/restaurant is. I eat on the sushi side and am a big fan of their sushi rolls. They have a salad that... More
