Nasty environment; gross food; lazy servers; the chef didn't out in a show. On top of all that, they automatically include the tip on your total THAT THEY CHOOSE!! 18 percent automatic was ours' for a family of 3.... you are not "allowed" to reduce...or remove the tip - you are only allowed to increase it!!! I’ve been loyal to this restaurant for last 8 years. Not anymore. If eating lunch alone and you’re the first one there they will not let you sit at the hibachi table unless other strangers can fill up the table. Must be a new rule...as I’ve done this at many Japanese restaurants including this one. This is the second time I’ve had bad service in the last 2 months. It’s now time to find a new spot. Anyone willing to lose money in this economy shouldn’t be in business.More
We've been here over a dozen times, and we have always enjoyed the sushi and have experienced good service.
My son just moved to the area and we came for a visit. He really wanted to go to a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant for his Birthday, this place was close and seem to have good reviews. I totally see why now! The service was very...good, the food was great and we all had a great time! We have gone to many teppanyaki places before, but this one gave little extras, like shrimp that comes with your selection at no extra charge and little cake bites at the end that were very good too, and a piece of cheesecake with a candle to sing happy birthday. Lastly, our table chef named Andy gave the best "show" I have ever seen. He was funny, highly skilled, and really made the overall experience great! Definitely a place to go back to and most of all my son had a great Birthday!More
Called an order to go during this public distancing.. Waited 20 minutes past my pick up time, stood inside with 3 other customers who were also waiting to pick up. Finally left and called to have my order refunded, she told me it would be...ready in 5 and I said sorry it's too late i have already left.. She hung up on me. Called back and she said they would place a refund, of course my card was charged so I am calling to dispute charges with my bank.More
You cannot beat the service here! I was with my husband and 3 kids & the staff consistently asked if we needed anything. I’m hard to impress when it comes to service. They go above and beyond here.
We love this place. Best hibachi in the city and we camt wait to go back again. Worth the drive from anywhere in the area.
Our chef (Sam I Am) was hilarious and we had a great time. I thought the restaurant was pretty dirty and the table ables areas small and confined. The service was just okay except for our Chef, he was great. I had ordered an app...and it never came. One of the other waiters said the appetizer was never put in the system. We still had a very good dinner and the food was good. They could really use some updating and cleaning and it would make a big difference.More
Siki is a great place! We love sitting at the sushi bar. The staff is so friendly and good to interact with. Normally we order sashimi and rotate through various appetizers. Happy with our experiences and food!
We LOVE Siki! The spicy crab salad is my all time favorite, but you really can't go wrong. All their food is good!
We went here with another couple because they love this place. I found it pretty average. It was kind of expensive for the small amount of food we got. I'm also not a fan of the yellow sauce.
After years of dedicated patronage to Siki, I moved over 90miles away from the area. However, upon multiple return visits and the parting of Thomas and the regular crew;Linda etc..; the quality, portions and cleanliness of the place has quickly dwindled. Sadly, this last visit...may have been my final due to the uncleanliness of the facility that is operating as a food service establishment. Filthy cooking areas and reduced portions and increased pricing is a sad combination whereas once upon a time, Siki was far better than going to GoJo’s. I uploaded pictures of the poor portion sizes and receipt for 2 meals and uncleanliness of the place. Likewise, none of the workers seem to want to be there or have basic server skills.More
We have been to Siki many times but had to take a break. The last chef just was not in to it. Not much fun or smiles and the chicken was just not cooked correctly. It takes a while to get over that. We need...to try again since it is normally fun and good.More
First off everyone was so friendly when I walked in. I was embarrassed not to know what hibachi was or how to pick between the two sides of the restaurant and the guy at the front wasn’t impatient, we showed me the options and let...me make the decision. I ended up on the sushi side and I ordered the onion soup, crab rangoons, and the Philadelphia roll which were all awesome especially the crab Rangoon’s which were fresh and full of cream cheese. What I didn’t expect was a crab salad because it was taking a bit of time to come out. To be honest I hadn’t noticed how much time had passed so that crab salad was just so sweet and thoughtful. The guy making the sushi was great and the general service was awesome too. I had at least 3 people make sure everything was going well. Overall a lovely evening, I will definitely be back!!More
Every time we’ve eaten at Siki, it has been delicious. They are friendly staff. I always get exactly what I ordered.
