We went out to this place with the colleagues. I tried local KC beer and few appetizers. It was good. What I really enjoyed was the lake view and people riding a boat and catching fish.

We have dined at Marina Grog and Galley numerous times and have always enjoyed. From a date night for two, a small family celebration, to a group dinner in the private dining room, the Marina can make the visit special. Reservations are preferred. Indoor and dockside dining provide lovely lake views. A cozy bar and inside dining have views of... More

We celebrated our 47 th anniversary at the Marina Saturday night. It is, in our opinion, the best restaurant in town. We go there every year for special occasions. They have wonderful seafood, steaks and more. We love the tables by the windows to get the best views of the lake. After dinner it is fun to sit outside and... More

This was our first visit to this lakeside restaurant but it won't be our last! We made a reservation stating that there were four of us plus a baby. Our table was ready when we arrived, complete with a high chair right next to the aquarium. We had hoped for a lakeside table but the booth we were given turned... More

Bill and Doug finally got to meet one another and this lakeside venue is perfect for any quiet, high-end get-together. The steaks and seafood selections are outstanding. Try the crab cakes, one simply won't be disappointed. The wine selection alone is worth the trip. Super friendly service.

The place is old but don't be thrown off by that. Nice views of the lake. Excellent service and amazing food! My husband and I shared an appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops which were very tasty. I had a dinner salad with cracked pepper ranch dressing that was good and my husband got the clam chowder which was also very... More

Reservation for a large group 1 month in advance. Hoping that the service would be great as usual we also agreed to 20% because we were large group. Therefore servers didn't really have to earn it so it was rather mediocr. Food for most part was good as normal only be aware if you send back an item and eat... More

The location if this restaurant can not be beat. This was our second visit. Our first visit was in winter and we noticed the huge patio. It was sunny so we decided to head there for dinner in June. Disappointed does not even begin to describe how I felt. First off, they have a huge patio. Most of it was... More

We hadn't been to this restaurant for about 6 or 7 yrs, and now I am wondering why! I made a reservation 3 days before and asked for "water view seating" We got lost on our way there and I called the restaurant and a very nice gentleman guided us back on the right course to take to get to... More

It's been a while since I've been to the Marina grog and galley. The service was great. The calamari was good the presentation was like a steak fry. The mussels were ok. They were tender but the sauce/broth was overly starched and heavy. The Clam Chowder was really good. The entrees a a bit over priced in my opinion. 6oz... More
