Seemed they were short staffed,but she was able to keep up. This family ran restaurant has been here for what seems like forever. New item, BBQ Taco's, OMG they are absolutely delicious!!! Best Sweet Tea in town!!

Bill’s is an old, established business in Kennett. I had the pork plate for lunch with baked beans and potato salad for my sides. The beans and potato salad were outstanding! The pork BBQ was disappointing and dry. I wouldn’t classify as pulled or chopped, but more like ground up. Tried their sauce and that didn’t help. Overall, I wouldn’t have the pork plate again but would be interested in another entree accompanied by the baked beans and potato salad! I didn’t count the seats, but is a pretty large establishment with a nice lunch crowd. ONE waitress handling the whole place including cash register and drive thru window duties! Bill, hire her some help!!

Family bar-b-que at it's finest!

In business for over 60 years Bill's is the go to bar-b-q place in Kennett and don't forget to try their delicious chilli.

Don't waste your money! This place was disgusting... There was a roach in my BBQ sandwich! This restaurant was not clean. I couldn't tell the last time they swept the floor and none of the staff was wearing masks, hair nets or gloves. The staff is basically a bunch of kids that are more concerned with playing on their phones and talking than waiting on customers. The BBQ was mediocre at best. Bland, very bland, with no BBQ taste to it. The cheese fries were OK...but the fries weren't cooked long enough. I will never go back. Very disappointing!

Best French Fries Ever

I go to Big E’s often. The food - especially the delicious French Fries and the great burgers - can’t be beat! In my opinion it is the best place to eat in Kennett. It is a BBQ restaurant and the BBQ is wonderful, too.

No better barbecues sandwich

I’’ve been enjoying their barbecue all my life. There is no better barbecue sandwich. The chopped pork has a great flavor I’ve never had slaw like they make. Always get extra slaw on my sandwich.

If you are wanting barbecue this is the place to go. I love their barbecue sandwiches. I ask for the sweet sauce which I like better.

Pork was the only meat offered for BBQ, no brisket, ham or turkey. Husband had the pork sandwich with the coleslaw on top. It was a new experience that he probably wouldn't go back for. He didn't care for the sauce either. I had cheeseburger since I don't care for pork. It was fine. I had onion rings and they had a very thick sweet breading on them but were ok. This wouldn't be on my recommendation list for the food, but the decorations and the people were friendly. Even got to see the 4 queens while were there!

Yes a barbecue sandwich means pork with coleslaw on it. At 63 my husband still speaks fondly of is grandma bringing him to Bill’s in his Jammie’s. It moved to a new bigger location 5 years ago but the food is just as good.

Things to eat: Well, number rule one is coney plate. Open-faced hot dog, with chili, slaw, and cheese covering it. Heart healthy-hardly. Just damn good. Sliced sandwich and double cheeseburger are both very good... if you're looking to skip a few calories, try the bbq salad. Good people, easy to find location. A Kennett landmark for sure.

Grew up on Bill's BBQ and still love it. It is not big on decor, unless you love the collection of pigs. But the barbecue makes up for any lack of style. Very casual and family oriented. Be sure to have the pulled pork, chicken or ribs. The traditional sides are good; but the fried ocra and pickles are great!

Once a week... it's what's for lunch.

It's a Kennett landmark...Saturday lunch at Bill's is the place to be over the holiday weekends, just to run into old classmates and friends in from out of town. Might even catch a celebrity in town to visit family... we have a few to choose from. The coney plate is my absolutely favorite thing on the menu. Hot dogs, chili, slaw, and cheese served open face on a bun. Mmmm good. I think the bbq sandwich now has more smoke flavor today than it did at the other location. I prefer the white sliced bbq.

Great local barbecue

Bill's Bar BQ is a great local restaurant. Their barbecue sandwich with slaw is delicious. The slaw is vinegar based and completes the meal!! The staff is friendly and service is prompt.
