We made this a Friday night regular but I unfortunately drew a 'short straw' three-weeks in a row (back in Jan/Feb 2017) and received cold meals. Each time this happened, we always paid full-price for our meal but believed the next visit would be better. Three weeks into the bad meals, we finally had a face-to-face with a night manager,... Many Mexican restaurants to choose from in the greater KC area and El Patron is actually one of our favorite places to stopover for drinks after a late lunch or early dinner. Don't get me wrong, we have eaten here more than a few times and totally enjoyed everything that we have tried from the menu. However, we are addicted... More

We dined here recently for an early dinner midweek so it was not busy at all. That being said, sometimes when we do that at other places the food/service is not the best. I'm glad to say this was not the case at El Patron. They have their own parking lot on the sides so we had no problem finding... More

We were craving good quality Mexican that we can't find in Lees Summit. This hit our tastebuds and caused gleeful sounds. We had verde and mole enchiladas that were spectacular. The refried beans are superb. Warm chips and good hot sauce warmed us up for the main course. The fried flour taco didn't come out as crisp as I wanted,... More

We enjoyed our visit with good mexican food. The location is unique, and we walked up a steep set of stairs to our table! The tables are extremely close together, so don't try to have a private conversation here. The service was excellent.

Parking is a Lil adventurous but worth the hassle. Food was good and the margarita even better! Service was very good and relatively quick. Another big plus was the guac!! Highly reccommend it:)

Went on a Friday night. Busy but not overcrowded. The chicken chimichangas were great. The house margaritas were very potent. Excellent service. The get a solid recommendation!

My husband and I ate here on a Friday evening, after work. The wait was about 15-20 minutes. It took a bit longer because we requested a table on the patio deck. They were fairly busy, but the staff was attentive and friendly. The tables seem to be fairly close to each other on the patio deck, but I like... More

You won't be disappointed! The chips and salsa started us off accompanied by any of the local Boulevard offerings (pale or wheat). We ordered the fajitas and enjoyed them especially the large portions. Service was excellent and I suggest the rooftop for dining. Look forward to my next trip to KC and a return to El Patron.

Thank Jim K
