had the 5 course paired/dinner - loved it. However if you expect to party or do something else later forget it.

This is a hard review for me to write. How do you rate a meal when everything is great, except the main course? I settled on 4 stars. The main course should have been 2 1/2, but everything else was a 5. My wife and I had wanted to try this place for ages. We had heard about all the... More

Made a dinner reservation for us last Friday, June 24 at 8:30 PM. The door host was immediately attentive, greeted us with a smile and checked off our name. We arrived about a half-hour early and had a seat at the bar. Although there weren't many patrons waiting for drinks at the bar itself, the bartenders seemed busy & overwhelmed... More

Always great. A must do for travelers. Service is fabulous. Restaurant side is pricey. So we usually eat and drink on the bar side. Menu changes seasonally. Best advice: Order dessert first then you always have room.

My second visit to Bluestem. First was for drinks, tonight was for dinner. Bluestem is comfortable, friendly, and does have an interesting menu. I was dining solo so ate in the bar at the 'dessert counter'. Service was top notch, friendly and helpful. There is good communication within the staff, too as they knew I was looking at maybe the... The local farm to table menu offers 3 different pre-fix menus - 3, 5 or 10 courses with optional + additional wine pairings. We (a group of four) got 5-course - each was perfect in size + tasted amazing. The space was perfect, the service was great (we had Paul as our server) but make sure you have an ample... More

Very informal low key interiors with attentive service and interesting combinations of egg dishes for brunch. Natives say that dinners are outstanding and very creative.

The table was ready early, the wine pairing was exceptional (we ordered different dishes), the food wonderful, though the rib-eye was exceptionally lean and a bit tough. All in all, Bluestem does it again, a terrific meal and easy to choose menu. 3, 5 or 10 courses at fixed price levels. Small portions, but enough to eat, mst everyone will... More

We finally made it to Bluestem for our wedding night dinner and it did not disappoint. We love laid back restaurants with top notch food and wine. The service was very attentive, genuine, and not too forced. Every course we had was amazing and the wine pairings were spot-on. It's a bit sad but we hadn't experienced good wine pairings... More

The five course meal was delectable, we tried food that we had never tasted. The service from our waitress and other staff was timely which made the experience even more enjoyable. Finally the wine pairings were informative and Mr. Cambiano was a great conversationalist.
